Wonderfully varietal, spicy Grüner Veltliner with fine, fragrant pepper and lots of quince and Golden Delicious fruit; very well balanced with a piquant interplay of sweetness and acidity, long finish. The town of Krems an der Donau was first mentioned as "Urbs Chremisa" in 995. The new premium line from Winzer Krems is named "Edition Chremisa" in its honor. The basis for these exceptional qualities was created over many years of preparation. Vintners supply the best grape material from selected vineyards under near-natural cultivation and elaborate processing in sites that are often difficult to access. The grapes are selectively hand-picked in several stages. The Edition Chremisa Grüner Veltliner is a dry white wine with great ageing potential, which will only develop its full strength in 1-2 years and can continue to grow under ideal ageing conditions.Enjoy this all-rounder, which goes well with many dishes, at a drinking temperature of 11-13 °C. Goes well with white meat, poultry, baked mushrooms or schnitzel.

Domäne Wachau Grüner Veltliner Terrassen Federspiel
Fresh straw yellow with subtle streaks, pronounced and open on the nose, aromas of white pepper, gooseberry and some yellow apple. Medium-bodied, lively acidity, very harmonious and with a fruity and spicy finish. A characteristic Federspiel from Grüner Veltliner, subtle and very racy.Ideal well chilled from the fridge at approx. 8°C. The wine can be drunk young, but also has 2-3 years of ageing potential. Excellent with baked dishes such as Wiener Schnitzel, poultry and various fish dishes. The vegan wine is also a wonderful accompaniment to vegetarian burgers and grilled vegetables.Origin and terroirThe entire Wachau region with its special microclimate and primary rock soil is the area of origin. Only grapes from terraced vineyards are used for this wine. This results in a clear and consistent Wachau wine style with lots of fruit.Grape variety Grüner Veltliner is the most important grape variety in Austria, accounting for approx. 1/3 of the total area. In the Wachau, the proportion of Grüner Veltliner increases to over 50%, as does the Domäne Wachau. A variety of styles can be produced from this grape variety, including medium-bodied white wines such as this Federspiel.Quality categoryFederspiel wines are harvested with a maximum of 12.0% alcohol and may not, of course, be fortified. The name Federspiel comes from falconry, which was very popular in the Wachau. The falcon symbol stands for the racy elegance of these dry white wines.VinificationThe vines are cultivated in the classic high training method and harvested at an average yield of approx. 7,000 kg per hectare. A modern grape transfer system enables precise selection of absolutely healthy grape material. Pressing in pneumatic tank presses, destemming overnight, use of pure yeasts, cool fermentation and ageing in stainless steel tanks. Subtly reductive handling guarantees a fresh, fruity wine with structure.

Pfaffl Grüner Veltliner Hund
The Pfaffl Grüner Veltliner Hund is a lively and characterful white wine from the heart of Lower Austria that perfectly reflects the typical qualities of the Austrian Grüner Veltliner grape variety.Although the work on the Hundsleiten vineyard is tough due to the steepness of this stony site ("hundsn"), the vines, which are over 30 years old, reward this with particularly extract-rich wines.A clear pepper spice, accompanied by charming orange and pineapple aromas, already announces the complexity of the Veltliner on the nose. The complexity reaches its peak on the palate, where pepper meets minerality and citrus meets apple. The rich bouquet of Grüner Veltliner HUND Weinviertel DAC Reserve becomes clearer with every sip, and a long finish invites you to enjoy another glass. This wonderful dry white wine from Austria is ideal with typical Viennese cuisine, but also goes wonderfully with exotic dishes or fresh salads.

Pfaffl Wien 1
