The Spanish winery Pago del Rey has set itself the goal of producing quality wines with their own personality. The winery was opened in Rueda in 2005.The Pagos del Rey Blume Verdejo Viura Rueda DO is made from the Verdejo grape variety and a small proportion of Viura. Viura is often blended with other grape varieties to produce dry white wines with real character.The grapes are harvested at night at the beginning of October. The cool night-time temperatures allow the berries to retain their wonderful aromatic character. The must undergoes 6-8 hours of cold maceration to allow the wonderful aromas to come to the fore. Paradiso Posta Piana Fiano Greco Puglia IGP 2023

Die Geschichte des italienischen Weinguts Paradiso begann 1950 in der Nachkriegszeit. Großvater Angelo Paradiso war einer der vielen Bauern, die Apulien bevölkerten. Er probierte sein Glück im Weinanbau und konnte sich 1954 seinen Traum mit dem Bau eines eigenen Weinguts erfüllen. Inzwischen wird das Gut in 3. Generation geleitet. Eine seiner Kreationen unter verschiedenen Rotweinen ist der Weißwein Paradiso Posta Piana Fiano Greco IGP Puglia. Eine angenehme Überraschung, die aus Fiano und Greco Trauben gekeltert wird.Die Reben für diesen Wein wachsen in verschiedenen Weingärten in Cerignola, das landwirtschaftliche Zentrum der Region Apulien. Hier sind die Böden Ton und kalksteinhaltig. Nach der Ernte werden die Trauben entrappt und in Edelstahltanks bei einer Temperatur von 10°C vor dem Pressen für 24 Stunden gelagert. Nach dem Pressen wird der Most ebenfalls in Edelstahltanks auf der Hefe bei einer Höchsttemperatur von 17°C vergoren. Ist die Gärung abgeschlossen, wird der Wein abgezogen und der verbleibende Trub (Rückständer der Schale oder des Fruchtfleisches) 4 Monate lange aufgerührt. Schließlich wird der Rebsaft gefiltert und in Flaschen abgefüllt, wo er einen Monat lang gelagert wird, bevor er auf den Markt kommt.Der Paradiso Posta Piana Fiano Greco IGP Puglia zeigt sich im Glas in einem strohgelb mit grünlichen Reflexen. In der Nase ist der Weißwein intensiv und komplex, wobei blumige und fruchtige Noten überwiegen. Das Mundgefühl ist voll und der Abgang anhaltend mit einer ausgewogenen Säure und Schärfe. Es sind Nuancen von tropischen Früchten und ein Nachgeschmack von Zitrusfrüchten erkennbar.

Pascal Jolivet Pouilly Fume AOC 2023

Pascal Jolivet steht für eindrucksvolle Loire Weine, die viel Genuss versprechen. Dazu gehört der Pascal Jolivet Pouilly Fumé AOC. Der trockene Weißwein besteht zu 100% aus Sauvignon Blanc, der auf Feuersteinböden wächst, die die charakteristische rauchige Note in den Wein bringen.Die Trauben wurden nach der Ernte von Hand sortiert. Nach der Pressung wurde der Rebsaft auf seinen natürlichen Hefen 33 Tage lang bei 16° vergoren. Bevor der Wein in Flaschen abgefüllt wurde, reifte dieser noch zwei Monate in Edelstahltanks.Der hell glänzende goldgelbe Pouilly Fumé (fumé = geräuchert) ist am Gaumen vollmundig und konzentriert mit Zitrusfrüchten und wunderschöner Mineraltität. You will find the Pascal Jolivet winery in the beautiful French town of Sancerre. Sancerre is an AOC-certified wine-growing region located around the eponymous village of Sancerre on the Loire, opposite Pouilly-Fumé. Only the Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir varieties are cultivated in this region, as all other varieties are not allowed to be traded as AOC classified.The Sauvignon grapes used to make the dry white wine were vinified individually from three different terroirs. The terroirs differ in their soil types. These are chalky-chalky, clayey-chalky or consist of limestone and flint and give the Sauvignon Blanc grape its specific characteristics. The Sancerre Blanc matures for several months.In the glass, the white wine is bright and shiny golden yellow. Beautiful aromas of citrus fruit unfold on the nose. Zu einer langen Reihe ausgezeichneter Pascal Jolivet Weine aus dem Loiretal gehört der Pascal Jolivet Sancerre Blanc Clos du Roy AOC. Die Sauvignon Trauben für diesen einzigartigen Weißwein stammen aus einem der schönsten Terroirs der Appellation Sancerre in der französischen Gemeinde Crézancy. Der kalkhaltige Boden sorgt für ein sehr typisches Aromengerüst, das dem Terroir nahe kommt und einen eleganten und feinen Sancerre "cru" entstehen lässt.Die Reifung des Weins fand für 4 Monate auf der Feinhefe in thermoregulierten Edelstahltanks statt. Der Charakter des Weins drückt sich frei mit außergewöhnlicher Frucht aus. Im Bouquet vereinen sich Zitrusfrüchte und grüner Apfel. Der Abgang ist lang und weich.
