Floral nuances and the fine slate minerality provide additional complexity. The Riesling is wonderfully balanced on the palate - the fine residual sweetness harmonizes perfectly with the lively acidity structure and gives the wine its typical lightness and animating freshness.This Kabinett is vinified using traditional methods: The hand-picked grapes are gently pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine is also matured in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruitiness and clarity of the Riesling. Nik Weis is highly regarded nationally and internationally for his Riesling creations. But thanks to its sites with limestone and chalk soils, the estate also has an ideal terroir for high-quality Pinot Blanc. The spontaneously fermented wine, which is matured in stainless steel tanks, comes from 40 to 70-year-old vines.The bouquet of the Nik Weis Weißburgunder combines notes of fresh yellow fruit (quince, pears) with intense foral tones.
