As a VDP Erste Lage, it embodies the finest traditions of Rheinhessen: the distinctive minerality of the limestone soils and the characteristic expression of the vineyard are unmistakable.The grapes are harvested by hand with great care, selecting only the best berries for this Riesling. Low yields, consistent hand-picking and intensive care of the vines create the basis for a wine of the highest precision. The grapes and must are processed particularly gently in order to preserve the pure fruit aromas and minerality of the terroir. Das Weingut Yalumba, das 1849 gegründet wurde, ist das älteste Familienweingut Australiens und steht seit jeher für exzellente Weine von höchster Qualität.Der „Y Series Riesling“ präsentiert sich in der Nase mit frischen Aromen von Zitrusfrüchten wie Limette und Grapefruit, die von blumigen Noten von Jasmin und weißen Blüten ergänzt werden.
