Onix Fusio Priorat DOQ 2023

Der Onix Fusio Priorat DOQ ist ein ausdrucksstarker Rotwein aus der prestigeträchtigen Weinregion Priorat in Katalonien, Spanien. Diese Region ist bekannt für ihre kraftvollen, mineralischen Weine, die aus den charakteristischen Schieferböden, den sogenannten "Llicorella", hervorgehen. Das mediterrane Klima mit heißen Tagen und kühlen Nächten fördert eine langsame Reifung der Trauben und verleiht ihnen eine intensive Aromatik und Struktur.Der Onix Fusio wird aus einer harmonischen Cuvée von Garnacha (Grenache) und Cariñena (Carignan) hergestellt, den typischen Rebsorten des Priorats. Diese Kombination sorgt für eine perfekte Balance aus Frucht, Würze und Mineralität. Der Wein hat eine tief rubinrote Farbe mit violetten Reflexen. In der Nase entfalten sich komplexe Aromen von reifen schwarzen Früchten wie Brombeeren und Kirschen, begleitet von zarten Eichennoten. Am Gaumen zeigt der Wein eine beeindruckende Struktur mit samtigen Tanninen. Die reifen Fruchtaromen harmonieren perfekt mit den mineralischen und würzigen Nuancen. Der Abgang ist lang und anhaltend mit Noten von Vanille, Pfeffer, schwarzer Kirsche und Gewürznelke.Der Onix Fusio passt hervorragend zu gegrilltem oder geschmortem Fleisch, insbesondere Lamm und Wild oder zu Käse wie Manchego oder Pecorino. Auch zu herzhaften Eintöpfen und Gerichten mit mediterranen Kräutern ein wahrer Genuss.

On the palate, this red wine from South Africa is aromatic, juicy and velvety, showing a great balance and skilfully integrated tannins.The Shiraz (major proportion), Carignan, Mourvèdre, Grenache, Petite Sirah and Tannat grape varieties unite to create this taste experience from the Western Cape Province. The grape varieties matured separately for 12 months in American and French oak casks before blending. Finally, the composition was aged again in used oak casks.In the Spice Route Chakalaka you’ll discover an outstanding, velvety red wine of great depth from South Africa.

Whispering Angel Rose 2024

Grenache, Rolle (Vermentino), Cinsault and Syrah come together in the Château d'Esclans Whispering Angel. This seductive rosé from the Côtes de Provence offers wonderful notes of strawberry, lemon, cherry and jasmine. On the palate, with nice minerality and elegance.Hard to believe, but this is an entry level wine of the Château. To provide all the freshness and the wonderful fruitiness, this rosé was not aged in oak barrels.Enjoy the Château d'Esclans Whispering Angel with pies, grilled fish or meats and seafood in a creamy sauce.
