Grenache and Shiraz combine in Parallèle 45 Rouge from the Côtes du Rhône. The traditional creation of the winemaker Paul Jaboulet Aîné offers aromas of red currant, a lovely spiciness and vanilla notes. On the palate the wine is dry, medium-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long, spicy finish.

The Parallèle 45 Rouge from vineyards in the southern Rhône valley on the 45th parallel, comes from 25 year old vines. A wonderfully fruity wine, matured in stainless steel tanks that is a fine accompaniment to grilled meats and cheeses.

Around a fifth of the wine matured for 4 months in first and second fill barrels. The rest was matured in stainless steel tanks. Together, this results in a wine with a deep purple color and aromas of blackcurrants and various spices. The Paul Mas Cabernet de Cabernet is round on the palate, with soft tannins.
