The Vilafonté Series M from the prestigious Vilafonté wine estate is an exceptional red wine cuvée from the Western Cape in South Africa, created for connoisseurs and collectors who appreciate wines of the highest finesse, structure and maturity. Produced with only 80 barriques worldwide, this wine embodies exclusivity and rarity - a real gem for discerning palates and premium collections.In the glass, the Series M fascinates with its deep garnet hue and dense core. The bouquet reveals a multi-layered interplay of aromas: ripe red fruits such as pomegranate, cranberry, raspberry and blueberry compote merge with seductive notes of crème brûlée and vanilla. Finely spiced accents of tarragon and cardamom as well as a hint of savory nuances lend the wine additional depth and sophistication.On the palate, the wine is broad, velvety and elegant, carried by precisely integrated tannins reminiscent of finely crushed velvet. The juicy red fruits lead to a long, expressive finish that perfectly reflects both the concentration and finesse of the wine.The cuvée is made from Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc and matured for 22 months in French barriques, 30% of which were in new oak. This ageing process guarantees a harmonious combination of powerful fruit, complex spicy notes and fine depth of wood, without overpowering the natural elegance of the grape varieties.This red wine is ideal with braised beef, lamb, duck breast, aromatic mushroom dishes or mature hard cheese at a recommended drinking temperature of 16-18°C. Thanks to its balanced structure, velvety texture and concentration, Vilafonté Series M is not only a pleasure in the here and now, but will continue to develop over many years.

Waterford The Jem is the flagship wine of the renowned South African Waterford Estate. This exceptional red wine cuvée combines the estate's best grapes and reflects the unique terroir of Stellenbosch. Named after the founder Jeremy Ord ("Jem"), this wine stands for craftsmanship, complexity and elegance at the highest level.Up to eight different grape varieties are combined for The Jem, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Each grape variety is vinified separately in order to bring out its individual character traits in the best possible way. After temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine is matured for at least 20 months in French oak barrels, followed by further bottle ageing to perfectly integrate the aromas and refine the tannins.In the glass, Waterford The Jem is a deep ruby red with garnet reflections. The nose is characterized by a complex bouquet of dark berries, cassis and ripe plums, complemented by fine notes of fynbos, vanilla oak, crushed violets and cloves.
