A very deep attractive ruby red colour shows a young wine at the moment of its release.On the nose the wine is intense, but elegant, with acid perfume notes probably coming from the cherry aromas that also outstand. Barrel scents emphasize more than usual, but with a couple of months of bottle ageing the wine will be completely integrated.On the palate, very tasty notes and complex aromas enhance, although in a soft and elegant way. A long after tasting with a pleasant end.

The Caliterra Tributo Carménère from the Caliterra winery is a red wine full of character, elegance and expressiveness.Carménère is a specialty wine from Chile that used to be found in Bordeaux. However, the French version of the grape was never a single variety. In Chile, they know how to make a fantastic red wine from these grapes.The Caliterra Tributo is a wine with a deep reddish color in the glass and a harmonious nose with aromas of black fruits, cloves and roasted peppers.Powerful on the palate with plenty of body, a beautiful structure, lively acidity and maturity from French oak. This is a harmonious and expressive red wine with plenty of depth and soft, ripe tannins. This combination is the best prerequisite for good ageing potential.Goes well with pasta dishes, lamb and beef variations.

Los Vascos Cromas Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

The Los Vascos Cromas Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is the first blend since 2004 to consist mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines of the Grande Réserve from Los Vascos are vinified in the traditional way and matured in French oak barrels. They are characterized by their power and aromatic complexity. Fruity and expressive bouquet of fresh strawberries, cherries, gooseberries and blue flowers. Subtle notes of laurel, cabbage, graphite and tobacco complete this red wine. On the palate, this Chilean wine is generous with soft but lively tannins that lead to a long, persistent finish. A wine that can be drunk alone or with friends, for example as an accompaniment to a good book or simply for pleasure. Or with braised dark meat, duck, lamb, game or mature, aromatic cheese.

Montes Alpha Syrah 2022

The Montes Alpha Syrah from the Vina Montes winery comes from Chile, from the Colchagua Valley region to be precise. This wine is particularly balanced and smooth.The dry red wine presents itself in an elegant red color with black-purple reflections. On the nose, the Syrah smells of black cherries, ripe plums and red fruits such as strawberries. Slightly smoky, sweet tobacco notes suggest elegance. On the palate, the Chilean red wine is very velvety, peppered with fine spicy notes. Due to its ageing in French oak barrels, notes of toast and crème brûlée are also present. The Montes Alpha Syrah consists largely of the Syrah grape variety and a small proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier.Enjoy this wine with red meat, spaghetti bolognese or duck in a delicious sauce at a recommended drinking temperature of 17-19 °C.We also recommend decanting this wine approx. 30 minutes before drinking.

Purple Angel is a selection of our best Carmenère selected from our two Estates (50% sourced from Apalta, were its sunny vineyards give elegance to the wine and 50% from our Marchigue Estate, a coastal cool weather vineyard that produces low yields naturally and provides strength, concentration and a deep, intense carmine color to it. A fantastic wine that blends both elegance and powerPurple Angel showcases the spicy touches typical of Carmenère, with ripe, gentle and soft tannins, it’s a full bodied, concentrated wine that combines red berries and dark chocolate on the mouth with alluring cigar box, blackberries and plums aromas on the noseThe wine is blended with a touch of Petit Verdot to enhance its structure, color and cellaring potential. A mouth filling wine with a very long finish, definitely a unique Carmenère!Denomination of Origin: Purple Angel is a blend of 92% Carmenère and 8% Petit Verdot from the Colchagua Valley. Winemaking: Grapes are carefully hand picked. The clusters go through a grape by grape selection made by hand with a team of 14 people, in which only good fruit is allowed into the tank. During the 18 months of barrel aging in new French oak barrels, the wine is racked 3 times to get rid of lees, and allow some oxygen to interfere in the evolution and maturation of this wine.When the final blend is made, if the wine is totally clear, and has no microbiological pressure, there is no need for filtration or fining….so the wine goes unfiltered to the bottling process.Decant for at least an hour for better enjoyment, allowing the wine to open up.
