Over time, nuances of granite and dried blue flowers emerge. Notes of plums, blackberries and strawberries also enrich the bouquet. Everything is finely underpinned by a stimulating spiciness (rosemary, sage, but also cinnamon and a hint of leather and tobacco).On the palate, Bibi Graetz's Super Tuscan is dry, clear and perfectly smooth. "Full-bodied, very dense and polished, with a dense and powerful palate that opens up and grows while remaining agile and beautiful," says James Suckling, whose 98 points make it clear that few wines in the world come close to this quality. "This vintage offers an ideal dose of structure paired with freshness," says Monica Larner."After the great 2015 vintage, I couldn't believe that the quality of 2016 was even better," writes Bibi Graetz. As described, the grapes come from three vineyards in Tuscany, which were meticulously harvested (up to eight times!). In this way, the very best grape material was obtained, which forms the basis for the Colore 2016. The batches from the individual vineyards matured separately in oak for almost three years before the final blend was composed. A masterpiece of Italian viticulture.

Wie schon beim Testamatta stammen die Trauben von Reben in einem Alter von 80 bis 135 Jahren, was sicherlich besonders ist. Diese Basis schafft einen Wein, der nicht nur sehr konzentriert und kraftvoll, sondern gleichermaßen homogen, rund und elegant ist. Diese Balance zu kreieren erstaunt doch sehr. Nachdem Einschenken ins Glas (wir hatten den Wein 2 Stunden vorher dekantiert) ein intensives Aroma von Kirschen und Himbeeren in der Nase. Gefolgt von Kräuternoten und dem Duft einer Blumenwiese. Durch eine deutliche Säure entsteht ein frisches und subtiles Bouquet. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Bibi Grätz Colore 2018 komplex und kraftvoll mit feiner Raffinesse. Im Finish konzentriertes Lakritz und sogar etwas Tabak. Sichern Sie sich ein paar Flaschen von den nur 9000 produzierten Exemplaren dieses wunderbaren Weins. Der Wein wird durch ein paar weitere Jahre Flaschenreife sicher noch an Trinkfreude zunehmen. So ist es auch nicht verwunderlich, dass unter anderem James Suckling 99 von 100 Punkten, Robert Parker und das Decanter Magazin je 97 von 100 möglichen Punkten vergeben

The Uggiano Governo all'uso Toscano IGT is a creation of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo. It is produced using the traditional Tuscan Governo method. This involves adding a must made from grapes that have dried up like raisins to the young wine. In the case of Uggiano Governo all'uso Toscano, the grapes harvested first were dried on mats in the sun before the must was added. These grapes make up 10 to 15 % of the harvest. "Ancient technology with a modern twist," writes US wine critic James Suckling, who awards this red wine from Tuscany 92 points.The deep red wine has a captivating aroma of red and darker fruits (plums, cherries and blackberries) with a pleasant spiciness. Dry and full-bodied on the palate, wonderfully round and soft, with a subtle, invigorating acidity and supple tannins. A very subtle residual sweetness and a fine spiciness round off the taste experience.This accessible Italian red wine was matured in stainless steel tanks. Enjoy the Uggiano Governo all'uso Toscano IGT at a drinking temperature of 16 to 18 degrees. The Governo wine is the perfect accompaniment to a hearty starter dish (e.g. with salami, prosciutto and Coppa di Parma, the Italian ham from the Parma region, with figs and cheese). The Uggiano Roccialta Chianti Classico DOCG is a Chianti Classico that is simply fun to drink. Since the mid-1970s, the Azienda Uggiano, located just over 20 kilometers southwest of Florence, has been composing wonderful Italian red wines that offer remarkable value for money. The Uggiano Roccialta Chianti Classico is a fine example of the winemakers' art of viticulture from Tuscany.The ruby red blend of Sangiovese and Canaiolo (an old, indigenous Tuscan grape variety) has a stimulating aroma of cherry and raspberry, with floral nuances of lilac, violet and rose. A fine spiciness (thyme) and subliminal notes of vanilla from the ageing in wood round off the bouquet.On the palate, the Chianti Classico is dry and wonderfully harmonious, with distinctive, wonderfully integrated tannins. The density of aromas is impressive (cherry, raspberry and thyme, with earthy undertones). The red wine from Tuscany is pleasantly soft and lingers for a long time.The Uggiano Roccialta Chianti Classico matures for six to eight months in large oak barrels. After ageing in stainless steel tanks, it was refined in the bottle for at least six months.Enjoy this Chianti at a drinking temperature of 16 to 18 degrees. Am Gaumen ist der Rotwein aus der Toskana trocken und zugleich herrlich frisch, mit einer schönen Fruchtbetontheit (Kirsche), einer anregenden Säure und merklichen, gut eingebundenen Tanninen. Mit der Zeit gewinnt der Uggiano Roccialta Chianti an Samtigkeit. Das Finale ist angenehm weich und hallt noch länger nach.
