Grapes of exceptionally high quality form the basis of this excellent white wine from South Africa. The Waterkloof Circumstance Sauvignon Blanc unites notes of lime and gooseberries in its bouquet, along with nuances of white and green pepper. The grapes for this white wine come from vineyards located near False Bay. On the palate, it is very acidic, fruity and clear, offering an ample texture and a prolonged minerality.

This Sauvignon Blanc was aged in large, used oak casks and is thus a wonderfully stimulating taste experience from South Africa. Try this organically produced white wine with prawns, for example.

This Chenin Blanc from Waterkloof has a wonderfully fresh aroma of green apple, stone fruit and subtle nuances of honey and almond-marzipan cream. On the palate, the Waterkloof Circumstance Chenin Blanc is full and fresh, with a beautiful, mild acidity. The elegant finish lingers for a long time. The white wine from vineyards not far from False Bay is the perfect accompaniment to a simple cheese platter. The straw-yellow Chenin, produced in natural viticulture, comes from bush vines, i.e. vines without wire frame training. This is also characteristic of Waterkloof's philosophy. The winery intervenes only minimally in nature in order to create wines that authentically convey the terroir of South Africa.

The Waterkloof Circumstance Cabernet Sauvignon has an intense bouquet offering notes of ripe red fruit, which harmonise wonderfully with nuances of graphite. The red wine from vineyards located near False Bay is remarkably concentrated on the palate, with noticeable but nicely integrated tannins. The Cabernet Sauvignon matured for 20 months in French oak casks, of which 20% were new barrels. The rest of the barrels were third-fill barriques.
