Der Neethlingshof Unwooded Chardonnay hat eine klare grünliche Farbe, die an den Rändern goldene Reflexe zeigt. Der Duft ist aromatisch und reichhaltig nach Hefe und Birne, ergänzt um Noten der Zitrusfrucht und weißem Pfirsich. Im Geschmack deutlich trocken und fruchtig glänzt der Wein mit seiner Frische und Lebendigkeit. Die vielschichtige Frucht ergibt einen knackigen und langanhaltenden Abgang.

Als Speisenbegleiter passt der Neethlingshof Unwooded Chardonnay aus Südafrika hervorragend zu Geflügel, Meeresfrüchten und Sommersalaten.

Die Farbe des Neethlingshof Pinotage ist rubinrot mit einem zarten Violett an den Rändern. Die Nase zeigt Aromen von Pflaume, Banane, dunklen Johannisbeeren und Zimt. Der Gaumen wird verwöhnt mit einem weichen, runden Körper, der deutlich die vollen Kirscharomen zum Vorschein bringt.Das gute Tanningerüst schafft eine wunderschöne Balance zur Fruchtigkeit. Die Trauben für den Neethlingshof Pinotage stammen von Reben die in nach Südosten ausgerichteten Weinbergen stehen und ca. 20 Jahre alt sind. Der Wein reifte für 9 Monate in 2/3 französischen und 1/3 amerikanischen Fässern. Etwa 40% der Fässer waren neu.Wir empfehlen Ihnen den südafrikanischen Pinotage zu einem Gourmet-Hamburger, Wildcarpaccio oder gereiftem Käse oder dunkler Schokolade.Dieser trockene Rotwein ist vegan.

Der Neethlingshof Cabernet Sauvignon wächst in Tukulu-Böden, eine speziell in Südafrika vorkommende Bodenart, die aus alten Graniten besteht, die sich zersetzt haben. Diese Böden haben eine gute Wasserdurchdringung und Speicherung, sind fruchtbar mit hohem Tongehalt.Die Farbe des Neethlingshof Cabernet Sauvignon ist rubinrot. Das Bouquet zeigt viel Pflaume, Kirsche, schwarze Johannisbeere und einen Hauch Zimt. Am Gaumen ist der Wein reich und voll mit reifen Fruchtaromen, unterstützt von weichen Tanninen.Der Rebsaft wurde einem 8-monatigen Ausbau in französischen Holzfässern zweiter Füllung unterzogen. Hierdurch erhielt der Wein eine weiche Holznote.Der Neethlingshof Cabernet Sauvignon ist ein köstlicher Allrounder, der sowohl zu roten und weißen Fleischgerichten als auch zu Pasta und mildem Käse passt.

By planting the pinotage grapes in rows in a north-easterly direction the grapes are not in the bright afternoon sun. This prevents them to develop a roasted and spicy aroma. And it helps even more that the sea is near, only 8 kilometer away. By low proceeds of 50 hectoliters per hectare the grapes get lots of intensity and the wine has enough strength and depth to let a part of it mature in wooden barrels. Fermentation at no more than 25 ° C ensures plenty of fruit. 40% of the wine matured in French oak barrels or American origin, making this a pleasant vanilla tasty Pinotage without sacrificing the fruit.

The grapes for the Protea Chardonnay from the Anthonij Rupert estate come from different vineyards located in the wine-growing regions of Franschhoek and Robertson. The grapes of individual parcels of land were vinified separately and partly aged in French oak casks in order to give the wine a higher complexity and structure. In the end, all grapes were blended and bottled. On the nose, the Anthonij Rupert Protea Chardonnay offers aromas of blood orange, grapefruit and lemon. On the palate as well, the wine offers lively notes of citrus fruit and noticeable juicy aromas of blood orange and grapefruit.
