Dieser Wein aus Südafrika vereint in seinem anregenden Bouquet Noten von saftigen Zitrufrüchten und Pfirsich, dazu Himbeeren und Cranberries. Im Glas lachsfarben und am Gaumen angenehm leicht, elegant, harmonisch und einfach erfrischend.

Die Cuvée besteht zu 60% aus Pinot Noir und zu aus 40% Chardonnay. Genießen Sie diese Kreation aus dem Franschhoek Valley als Solowein, zu frischen Salaten, Ente, Sushi und grundsätzlich zu leichter Sommerküche. Auch zu Fisch- und Geflügelkompositionen ist der trockene Wein aus der Region Western Cape eine gute Wahl.

Außerdem ist der elegante Pierre Jourdan Tranquille ist ein toller Roséwein zum Selbermachen von Glühwein und Punsch. Er harmoniert perfekt mit weihnachtlichen Gewürzen und ist als Basis für einen wunderbaren Rosé-Glühwein die richtige Wahl.

Der Warwick First Lady Cabernet Sauvignon hat eine tiefe rote Farbe. Im Bouquet rote Beeren sowie schwarze Johannisbeeren mit einem Hauch von Kräutern, ergänzt mit Vanille und Schokolade. Der Wein ist geschmeidig, vollmundig mit reifen Tanninen und guter Struktur.Der 100-Prozent Cabernet Sauvignon reifte 18 Monate lang in französischen Eichenfässern. Mit mehr als 20 Hektar Anbaufläche ist Cabernet Sauvignon die bestimmende Traube beim familiengeführten Weingut Warwick, das insgesamt über eine Anbaufläche von 56 Hektar verfügt. Die Ratcliffes erkannten schnell, dass sich das Terroir in der Provinz Westkap ideal für den Anbau von Cabernet Sauvignon eignet. Der erste Wein, den Norma Ratcliffe kreierte, war dementsprechend ein Cabernet Sauvignon. Deshalb trägt er auch den Namen „First Lady“.Der Wein passt gut zu Lammbraten, Eintöpfen und Schweinefleisch.

The Blanc de Noir Rose is the rosewine of the Oude Kaap. This wine is made because the demand for Rose is back in the lift. The wine is made from a blue grape variety, the Pinotage.The light pink color is achieved by having the juice very briefly in contact with the skins, therefore giving it only a bit of it's color.It is a dry Rose, but certainly not a tight dry wine. The fruit, especially with characteristics of strawberry and raspberry, remains in the soft finish. Delicious fresh and soft wine that certainly does great as a summer fruity thirst quencher.Im Winter empfehlen wir den Oude Kaap Rosé als Basiswein für die Zubereitung von Rosé-Glühwein.
