Barrels of 225 liters were used. (90% French and 10% American) In the glass a clear violet with a slight sparkle. The nose is characterized by blueberry, cedar, black cherry, dark chocolate and a hint of fennel. On the palate, De Toren Fusion V offers a silky fullness with a hint of sweet fruit. The overall package of well-integrated tannins, long-lasting depth, firm structure and minerality makes this wine a top product.
