This outstanding Amarone from the “Il Bosco” single vineyard has a fascinatingly multi-faceted bouquet hinting of cherries, damsons and preserved fruit, along with nuances of cocoa and roasted nuts. This wonderful assemblage, consisting of the Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grape varieties, is dry on the palate, with skilfully integrated tannins. The wine is velvety, showing a fine spice and subtle mineral notes.

Gerardo Cesari founded the winery in San Pietro, Italy in 1936, and the Cesari estate has been producing masterful Amarone wines for decades. The Il Bosco Amarone is produced only if the grapes meet the highest quality standards. The meticulously harvested grapes dry at the winery before gentle pressing. The wine matured for more than two years in a combination of French barriques and large Slavic oak casks and was further refined while aging for another 6 to 8 months in the bottle before selling.

The Cesari Il Bosco Amarone Classico DOC is an ideal accompaniment to game dishes and, in principle, to grilled and roasted meat.

This wine shows an excellent fullness, majestic aromas and an outstanding balance among all components, giving it ideal potential for prolonged ageing. The Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a sensational masterpiece of taste and fragrance. The Amarone has an impressive elegance, ripe fruit and an inviting bouquet. It is ruby-red in colour and shows fine hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, the wine is impressively powerful, with warm, rich nuances of wild cherry and chocolate. The Amarone is a little jewel in the range of Zenato wines. It is made of the excellent Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina grapes, which come from the Valpolicella Classico region from the municipalities of Sant'Ambrogio, Negrar, Pedemonte, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano and Marano. The grapes are harvested and picked by hand and subsequently dried for a period of three months. As a consequence, much of the liquid evaporates, resulting in berries that are extremely rich in sugar. After fermentation, the wine matured for 30 months in oak casks and for a further 12 months in the bottle.

Deep ruby red with hints of fine herbs.On the palate, the powerful, warm and rich flavorinfluences, including wild cherries and chocolate, very impressive.Excellent for a lifetime ...The absolute 'king' of this region, made from only the best grapes of exceptionally good harvests. Hand picked and selected and the grapes are let to dry out for several months with the result that much of the moisture in the grapes evaporates allowing the grapes to be very rich in sugars.The best and ripest Corvina grapes supplemented with a little Rondinella and Sangiovese. After fermentation the wine is matured in Slavonian oak casks for four years and then another 12 months in bottle.

The Cà dei Frati Amarone della Valpolicella Pietro dal Cero is an exceptional, high-quality taste experience from the Valpolicella region. The ruby-red wine shows an intense bouquet of sweet sour cherries and chocolate along with a lovely spice, floral nuances and balsamic notes, complemented by subtle hints of sweet tobacco and coffee. On the palate, this Amarone is sumptuously fruity, powerful, elegant and harmonious, showing a remarkable balance of fruitiness, alcohol content and body. The tannins are nicely integrated.This blend from the Cà dei Frati estate, consisting of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Croatina, was aged for 24 months in wooden casks and for 12 months in stainless steel tanks, before it matured for a further 24 months in the bottle. Before pressing, the grapes dried for four months in crates.Try this very special red wine with ripened cheese, braised meat, game and slow-cooked meat dishes. Lenotti Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG

In its bouquet, this Amarone from the Lenotti estate offers intense notes of the high-quality woods, in which the wine from the classic Valpolicella region matured for a long time. This wine is produced only in particularly good years. It is a blend consisting of the best red Valpolicella grapes: Corvina, Rondinella and Oseleta, dried in wooden crates until late in the winter. The wine matured in oak casks for several years.On the palate, the Lenotti Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is simultaneously lovely and bitter, intense and velvety. Enjoy this special wine from the Lenotti winery with roasted meat, game or aged cheese. To enjoy its full quality, savour this Amarone at a leisurely pace. The Cesari Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOC is redolent of dried cherries and raspberries, along with lovely notes of plums, herbs and nuances of toast and vanilla as well. This speciality from the Valpolicella region is full-bodied, warm and well-balanced on the palate, with a prolonged finish and noticeable, harmoniously integrated tannins. This blend, consisting mainly of Corvina and smaller percentages of Rondinella and Molinara, matured for a total of three years in French and Slavic oak casks. The wines produced by Gerardo Cesari are regularly awarded significantly more than 90 points by Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate. Especially where the Amarone wine is concerned, the Cesari estate, whose history dates back to 1936, is one of the most renowned wineries in Italy. Monica Larner judges in the Wine Advocate: “Your wines are extraordinarily clear and balanced, every single one showing a distinctive character.”
