With its elegant coral color Epicuro Rosato is a remarkable wine. The creation of Primitivo and Negroamaro offers an intense bouquet, marked by fine fruit and berry notes. On the palate the wine from Puglia is full-bodied and balanced. Aromas of raspberries and strawberries make it a light but sophisticated enjoyment.

The wine, which is named after the Greek philosopher Epicurus (341-271 BC), is ideal with fish and white meats with light sauces.

The Epicuro Rosato is another example, why in recent years many of the famous names in the wine world - such as Antinori - invested in the region in south-eastern Italy.

This 100%-Primitivo with its dark purple colour offers a wonderful variety of flavors with notes of plums and sweet cherries. There is also a subtle spiciness and - typical of Primitivo - a full-bodied fruitiness. On the palate warm, with ripe and soft tannins. The finish is long-lasting. The vines grow on dark, ferruginous and partly volcanic soils. The very hot summers and temperate winters are ideal for the grape variety Primitivo, which is one of the hallmarks of vineyards in Apulia. Enjoy the wine from Apulia (in Italian "Puglia") - the region that forms the "boot heel" of Italy - with hearty meat dishes.
