This Gran Reserva Rioja DOCa from Bodega Luis Cañas will delight wine connoisseurs who love the classic Rioja style. The cuvée of Tempranillo and Graciano has an intense aroma of chocolate, cocoa and black fruit with spicy hints. There are also notes of toasted wood, peat and charcoal from the barrel ageing in new French and American oak. On the palate, the red wine offers a beautiful mouthfeel with a good structure and a long, persistent finish.

The grapes for the Rioja grow on vines that are more than 50 years old. They are selected by hand and individually checked. Only grapes that are in perfect condition and destined to become a Gran Reserva are processed.

The grapes were carefully selected and come from the best vines with an age of 20-25 years.In the glass, the wine has a bright cherry red color with light orange tones. On the nose, this red wine is expressive with aromas of vanilla, cinnamon, cedar and red fruits. The finish is very long with great complexity. The wine matured for 2 years in American oak barrels and then for another 3 years in the bottle. Due to the long maturation, the wine is very soft and elegant and has a hint of leather and cigars.The Bodegas LAN Gran Reserva is a wine for special occasions.
