José Pariente Verdejo DO Rueda - A fresh white wine with character from Spain

Verdejo, the indigenous grape variety in Spain's Rueda wine-growing region: only in a few places does it achieve such qualities as here. When passion for viticulture and skill are added to this, as is the case at the José Pariente winery (which is now run by Victoria Pariente), nothing stands in the way of success. The José Pariente Verdejo is a wonderful example of this.

The Spanish white wine combines notes of citrus fruit, peach and passion fruit in its bouquet. There are also nuances of aniseed and subtle floral tones as well as an underlying minerality. On the palate, the José Pariente Verdejo is dry and fruity fresh, with a lovely acidity and a slight bitterness. This highly aromatic Verdejo lingers for a long time.

Enjoy the José Pariente Verdejo DO Rueda well chilled. It is a wonderful accompaniment to fish dishes, but also ideal with white meat, smoked dishes and mild soft cheeses.
