The Steenberg 1682 Pinot Noir Rosé Cap Classique (MCC) is a high-quality, traditionally produced sparkling wine from the Steenberg wine estate in Constantia, the oldest wine-growing region in South Africa. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this Cap Classique impressively demonstrates how elegant and complex South African sparkling wine can be.In the glass, the rosé sparkling wine has a delicate salmon hue with a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it has aromas of fresh strawberries, redcurrants, grapefruit and a hint of brioche. On the palate, the Steenberg 1682 Pinot Noir Rosé (MCC) impresses with its lively freshness, elegant mousseux, clear fruit and a fine, dry minerality on the finish.This Cap Classique is vinified like a Champagne according to the Méthode Traditionnelle - this means bottle fermentation with at least 12 months on the lees.
