Die Anbauflächen für die Sierra Noble-Weine befinden sich etwa 200 Kilometer südlich von Santiago, und damit in einer Region, die zu Chiles meistgerühmten Lagen zählt. Die Organisation Wines of Chile hebt hervor, dass das Colchagua-Tal große Anerkennung für seine körperreichen Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Syrah und Malbec erhalten hat. Dabei profitieren die Weine natürlich von den einzigartigen Gegebenheiten. Die Region ist geprägt von einem mediterranen Klima, in dem kühle Nächte und leichte Winde die intensive Sonneneinstrahlung mildern. So ergeben sich wunderbar reife, intensive, konzentrierte und ausgewogene Weine. Chiles geografische Grenzen – die Atacamawüste im Norden, die Anden im Osten, das patagonische Eisfeld im Süden und der Pazifische Ozean im Westen – haben das Land zu einer Art Insel des Weinbaus gemacht, mit nahezu grenzenlosen Möglichkeiten.

Zur Sierra Noble-Kollektion zählt natürlich ein Cabernet Sauvignon als erster Botschafter des Colchagua-Tals. Denn mit mehr als 11.000 Hektar Anbaufläche ist Cabernet Sauvignon die „Flaggschiff-Rebsorte“ in dieser außergewöhnlichen Region.
