The Cape Point Vineyard estate is located south of Cape Town. With its Noordhoek Sauvignon Blanc, it offers a refreshing wine with an abundance of grapefruit and some floral notes. Noordhoek is located directly on the coast, so that the grapes for the wine are influenced by a constant sea breeze, providing the Noordhoek Sauvignon Blanc with wonderful notes of oyster shells and kelp.

It offers powerful mineral notes on the palate, along with elegant aromas of tropical fruit. The fresh, vivid acidity leaves a sustained impression in the mouth. The Noordhoek Sauvignon Blanc consists of 3% Semillon, giving the wine a lovely balance. Due to its extraordinary aroma, it has a long and powerful finish.

Cape Point Vineyards ist ein vielfach preisgekröntes Weingut, das im Jahr 1996 von Sybrand van der Spuy in Noordhoek, Südafrika, gegründet wurde. Noordhoek ist nur 33 km von Kapstadt entfernt und liegt auf der Kap-Halbinsel, die sich südwestlich des Tafelbergs bis zum Kap der Guten Hoffnung und zum Cape Point erstreckt. Mit Cape Point Vinyards entstand eine ganz neue kleine Weinregion: Cape Peninsula.

Die unmittelbarere Nähe zum Ozean, wo die kühle Meeresbrise für einen langsamen Reifungsprozess und aromareiche Beeren sorgt, und die ursprünglichen Böden der Weinberge von Noordhoek und Scarborough bieten ein ideales Terroir für die Produktion von erstklassigen Weißweinen. Cape Point Vineyards widmet der Rebsorte Sauvignon Blanc gleich zwei Vertreter: Einen Sauvignon Blanc und einen Sauvignon Blanc Reserve. Die Flaschenanzahl der produzierten Weine ist streng limitiert. Belohnt wird die Arbeit regelmäßig mit bis zu 5 Sternen von John Platter und zahlreichen weiteren internationalen Auszeichnungen.

Terlaner Classico DOC

The Terlaner is a blend of Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. It is the historical Cuvée produced since the founding of the winery (1893!). The wine sparkles straw yellow with green hues. On the nose it offers notes of green apple and white peach. They are typical of the classic Terlan. Add to that, even subtle nuances of lemon and mint.On the palate, the white wine is invogorating but very soft. He also impresses with its freshness, minerality and great length.The grapes for the wine were picked and selected by hand. Stations of the winemaking-process: slow fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel; storage and ripening for 5-7 months on the lees in stainless steel tanks; finally, the assemblage a month before bottling.At about halfway between the cities of Merano and Bolzano is the wine-village of Terlan. The history of the South Tyrolean Cantina Terlano dates back to 1893. Over this long period Cantina Terlan has built an excellent reputation. The Wine Advocate stated in October 2014: "Cantina Terlano is one of the most prolific wineries in Italy and among the oldest in the region. It offers an outstanding line of wines that embrace multiple styles and philosophies. That inherent flexibility makes this co-operative winery one of the most exciting and innovative models in Italian wine today."Enjoy the Terlaner with salad of raw white asparagus, typical Italian dishes such as pizza and pasta with tomato sauce and focaccia with rosemary or Arrabbiata sauce. Cape Point Vineyards Isliedh

Dieser Wein hat in den vergangenen Jahren viele internationale Preise gewonnen. Unter anderem vom Decanter Magazine als „Best White Blend in the world over £15“ und 9 mal mit 5 Sternen von John Platter ausgezeichnet. Der zu 75% aus Sauvignon Blanc und zu 25% aus Semillon hergestellte Isliedh hat eine stark mineralische Note, die den Wein einzigartig als Essensbegleiter macht. Schon das Bouquet ist besonders komplex. Es zeigt florale Noten, sowie Aromen von Zitrone, reifem Obst, Marmelade und leichte Röstaromen. Am Gaumen ist der Isliedh von Cape Point Vineyard reichhaltig und lang. Der Wein schmeckt nach Pfirsich, Birne, Vanille, Backgewürz und zeigt einen Hauch von Ingwer, der lange im Abgang verweilt. Die Trauben für diesen herrlichen Wein stammen aus Noordhoek einer Gemeinde südlich von Kapstadt direkt am Atlantik. Die Reben sind einem ständig peitschendem Wind ausgesetzt, was kleine, aber sehr konzentrierte und gut strukturierte Ernten ergibt. Aufgrund der geringen Menge ist der Isleidh in jedem Jahr sehr schnell ausverkauft. Ein limitierter Wein, der das i-Tüpfchen für jedes gute Essen bedeutet.

The bouquet of this white wine is wonderfully multi-faceted. It combines notes of lychee, guava and blackcurrant. There are also complementary, harmonious nuances of elderberry and gooseberry.On the palate, the Constantia Uitsig Sauvignon Blanc is dry and intensely fruity and aromatic (guava and gooseberry). The South African white wine has a fine minerality and pleasant acidity. It lingers for a long time.Fiona McDonald awards this Sauvignon Blanc 4 out of 5 stars in John Platter's Wine Guide. She describes Constantia Uitsig's creation as "lively, taut and tangy, with characteristic lime zest and white pepper".The history of viticulture in the Constantia Uitsig vineyards dates back to the 16th century. Springfield Life From Stone Sauvignon Blanc

The Life from Stone Sauvignon Blanc from Springfield Estate in Robertson, South Africa, is an impressive example of the region's exceptional minerality. On the estate's extremely stony quartz soils, the vines thrive in challenging conditions, giving the wine its characteristic pebbly, mineral expression. Every step in the vineyard reflects the meticulous handiwork of Springfield Estates: the planting of the older vines required monumental efforts, sometimes even the use of dynamite, to penetrate the hard rock.The vines are planted on a gently south-facing slope with 6060 vines per hectare. The climate is characterized by moderate summers with cool nights and cold winters, while the southeast wind in summer ensures healthy, aromatic grapes. These grapes are harvested at night and immediately protected with dry ice to preserve their freshness and fine aromas. Before bottling, only a 2.5-micron filtration is carried out - a gentle treatment that preserves the natural freshness and complexity of the wine.Intense minerality meets fresh citrus and green apple notes, which are typical of Sauvignon Blanc. On the palate, the white wine has a powerful, concentrated body, fine elegance and a long, lively finish.Perfect with grilled vegetables, goat's cheese, light pasta dishes with herb or lemon sauces and fresh salads.
