Young and very fruity red wine, which has historically been a great success mainly because of its fruity and easy drinking convenience.
The red cherry fruit of grapes like Cinsaut, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Ruby Cabernet jumps forward. Supplemented by a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon which gives this wine a bit more backbone.

This wine is perfect with pizza, pasta or BBQ dishes.

The Blanc de Noir Rose is the rosewine of the Oude Kaap. This wine is made because the demand for Rose is back in the lift. The wine is made from a blue grape variety, the Pinotage.The light pink color is achieved by having the juice very briefly in contact with the skins, therefore giving it only a bit of it's color.It is a dry Rose, but certainly not a tight dry wine. The fruit, especially with characteristics of strawberry and raspberry, remains in the soft finish. Delicious fresh and soft wine that certainly does great as a summer fruity thirst quencher.Im Winter empfehlen wir den Oude Kaap Rosé als Basiswein für die Zubereitung von Rosé-Glühwein.

The Beyerskloof Synergy is the epitome of Cape wines. As one of the first of this type in South Africa, it unites the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon, the fruitiness of Pinotage and the softness of Merlot. A small percentage of Shiraz, Cinsault and Pinot Noir gives the Beyerskloof Synergy its spice and minerality. It matured for 14 months in first- (10%), second- and third-fill French oak casks.The Beyerskloof Synergy Cape Blend is a deep red in the glass, with a slightly shimmering ruby-red rim. Its bouquet offers extremely intense notes of black fruit. On the palate, the wine is juicy, soft and full-bodied, recalling sweet aromas of cedar, cherries and lots of black fruit. Der Boekenhoutskloof Chocolate Block ist ein unverwechselbares Geschmackserlebnis aus Südafrika. In der Nase vereint dieser Blend aus knapp drei Viertel Syrah (Shiraz) sowie kleineren Anteilen von Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache Noir, Cinsault und Viognier vielfältige Noten: Intensive Kirschnoten, Kardamom, süßer Tabak, Espresso und ein Hauch von Parfüm kommen hier zusammen. Am Gaumen vollmundig und rund, mit sehr guter Struktur, erfrischender Säure, einer rauchigen Mineralität und Aromen von schwarzen Oliven, sowie Lakritz und reifen Pflaumen.Für 16 Monate wurde der Boekenhoutskloof Chocolate Block im Eichenholz ausgebaut, wobei zu 10% neue Fässer zum Einsatz kamen. Der außergewöhnliche Wein passt ideal zu Pasta und Pizza, dunklem Fleisch (gebraten oder gegrillt), zu Geräuchertem oder zu mittelkräftigem Käse oder Hartkäse.Auch als 1.5-Liter-Magnum-Flasche erhältlich.
