Am Gaumen ist dieser Rotwein aus Franschhoek intensiv aromatisch, mit einer klaren Struktur und mittlerem Körper. Zugleich verführt dieser Pinot Noir mit einer milden und runden Struktur. Mit der Zeit zeigt sich die außergewöhnliche Opulenz und Länge des Chamonix Pinot Noir Reserve.

Denn 5 Sterne in John Platter’s Wine Guide sprechen eine deutliche Sprache: Der Creation Estate Pinot Noir Reserve ist ein herausragendes Beispiel südafrikanischer Weinbaukunst.Intensiv duftende Noten von frischen Himbeeren und Schwarzkirschen prägen mit eindrucksvoll würzigen Tönen (Pfeffer, Nelken, Muskat) das Bukett. Am Gaumen ist der hellrubinrote Wein wunderbar samtweich, mit reifen, geschliffenen Tanninen und großer Fruchtreinheit, die im Einklang mit einer knackigen Säure harmonieren. „2020 bietet eine Reihe von Düften und Geschmacksrichtungen und zeigt, wie verführerisch Pinot sein kann“, schreibt Christine Rudman im Platter und vergibt 95 Punkte.12 Monate reifte der Chardonnay im Eichenholz, wobei zu 35 Prozent neue Fässer zum Einsatz kamen. Dieser Reserve ist noch bis 2031 ein Hochgenuss.
