Neethlingshof Pinotage

Die Farbe des Neethlingshof Pinotage ist rubinrot mit einem zarten Violett an den Rändern. Die Nase zeigt Aromen von Pflaume, Banane, dunklen Johannisbeeren und Zimt. Der Gaumen wird verwöhnt mit einem weichen, runden Körper, der deutlich die vollen Kirscharomen zum Vorschein bringt.Das gute Tanningerüst schafft eine wunderschöne Balance zur Fruchtigkeit. Die Trauben für den Neethlingshof Pinotage stammen von Reben die in nach Südosten ausgerichteten Weinbergen stehen und ca. 20 Jahre alt sind. Der Wein reifte für 9 Monate in 2/3 französischen und 1/3 amerikanischen Fässern. Etwa 40% der Fässer waren neu.Wir empfehlen Ihnen den südafrikanischen Pinotage zu einem Gourmet-Hamburger, Wildcarpaccio oder gereiftem Käse oder dunkler Schokolade.Dieser trockene Rotwein ist vegan.

Stellenrust Corner Stone Pinotage

Der Stellenrust Cornerstone Pinotage stammt aus der sogenannten Super Premium Range des Weingutes und stellt somit die zweithöchste Stufe der Qualitätsebenen dar. Ein Wein dem viel Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt wird.Südafrika ist bekannt für seinen großen Anteil an Pinotage Weinen, da ist es eine Herausforderung einen besonders guten Pinotage zu vinifizieren. Dr. Tertius Boshoff, Winemaker und Besitzer von Stellenrust, legt deshalb extremen Wert auf die Auswahl der Trauben und deren Verarbeitung. Nach der händischen Ernte werden die Trauben ca. 36 Stunden gepresst und dann in Edelstahltanks vergoren. Die Reifung findet in französischen Eichenfässern über einen Zeitraum von ungefähr 20 Monaten statt.In der Nase zeigt der Stellenrust Cornerstone Pinotage ein Aroma von Blau,- und Himbeeren, dazu kommen Noten von reifem Pfirsich und schwarzer Kirsche. Am Gaumen ist der Wein saftig und mit vollem Körper, delikat und warm mit subtilen Eichentönen. Die stabile Säure macht den Abgang frisch und leicht süß-sauer.Dieser Rotwein eignet sich hervorragend als Essensbegleiter zu scharfer Küche, wie thailändischen Speisen mit viel Curry oder Chili con Carne.
