Cielo e Terra Gran Maestro Appassimento Rosso IGT - An Italian Appassimento classic from Apulia, lovingly composed from Sangiovese and Primitivo.This ruby red blend has a wonderful aroma of ripe red fruit. The intense bouquet is the result of the traditional appassimento method, in which the freshly harvested, overripe grapes are dried so that some of the water evaporates, resulting in a higher sugar concentration. On the palate, the Gran Maestro Appassimento Rosso IGT has a rich body with soft, sweet tannins.Discover this red wine, which is based on the traditional art of viticulture and the special conditions of winegrowing in Apulia, with pizza and pasta, but also with hearty meat dishes or mature cheese.

The Conte di Campiano Primitivo di Manduria Riserva is velvety and sumptuous on the palate, with a fine spiciness, full body, a little sweetness and nicely integrated tannins. Cielo e Terra Prosecco Frizzante DOC

Veneto, a region in north-eastern Italy, is the home of the Cielo e Terra winery. Since ancient times, the fertile region has been rich in vineyards. Here grows the Glera grape, until 2009 called Prosecco, which is the basis of the Cielo e terra Prosecco Frizzante DOC. The Italian sparkling wine, also called Secoo in Germany, has a much lower carbonic acid pressure than the conventional sparkling wine and tingles (ital. frizzare) only slightly.After the grapes are harvested, fermentation takes place in pressurised tanks at controlled temperatures. In the glass, the delicious sparkling wine presents itself in a platinum yellow. The nose is beguiled by notes of typical fruits such as apple and quince. On the palate, the fresh frizzante is lively due to its fruit acidity and convinces with a wonderful finish.The Cielo e Terra Prosecco Frizzante DOC should be served well chilled at temperatures of 6-8°C. Frizzante is preferably served as an aperitif. In addition, this Italian sparkling wine harmonises with starters and salads.

Col d'Orcia Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2020

The Col d'Orcia Brunello di Montalcino DOCG has a wonderfully fruity bouquet hinting of plums and ripe red fruit, complemented by a fine spice, resulting in a beautiful array of aromas. The Wine Advocate states: “The bouquet is redolent of wild berries, cherries, dried raspberries and spices.” On the palate, this wine from Tuscany is well-structured, with soft, ripe tannins which harmonize perfectly with the oak aromas stemming from the long ageing in oak casks. The wine shows a finish offering lovely nuances of sour cherries.The Col d'Orcia Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is the result of a meticulous selection of Sangiovese grapes harvested by hand. This red wine matured for three years in Slovenian and French oak casks, and was further refined while aging for another 12 months in the bottle. Robert Parker rightly awards this exceptional creation more than 90 points.
