The uniqueness of the Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC from the Italian winery Gorgo stems from the fact that it contains all the magic of Lake Garda, lending fascination and depth to a fresh, fragrant and sensual wine. The dry rosé is a delight at sunset and on warm summer days, but tastes good all year round and is also highly appreciated by discerning connoisseurs. Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara certified organic grapes undergo temperature-controlled maceration on the skins for six to eight hours. The must then ferments at 17°C, after which the wine matures on the lees in open steel tanks. The color of the Gorgo Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC is peach blossom pink and crystal clear. The nose is fruity with notes of wild berries, grapefruit and wild flowers. On the palate, the rosé wine has fresh fruit notes in a beautiful balance with mineral hints. The finish is long and persistent.
The Chiaretto from the Veneto region goes with practically everything - from starters, pizza and pasta to vegetarian summer dishes, seafood salads, grilled meat and fish and young cheese.
