The Poggerissi Bianco di Toscana IGT is a blend of selected Trebbiano Toscano and Chardonnay grapes. The Renzo Masi winery in Rufina has been known for its exquisite wine specialties for many years. This cuvée with its soft pastel yellow color captivates with a distinct fruity aroma of lime and fine nuances of pome fruit. The Tuscan wine owes these aromas and its youthful freshness primarily to the high proportion of Trebbiano grapes. It pampers the palate with citrus notes and balanced acidity. The finish is pleasantly long and round.

The Poggerissi Bianco di Toscana IGT is an excellent table wine at a drinking temperature of 10 to 12°C with dishes such as tapas, fish or fresh seafood. It is also ideal as an aperitif or with a light salad.

Der Weinbetrieb Renzo Masi befindet sich in Rufina, einem Städtchen im Tal der Sieve. Es liegt in der Chianti Region in der Toskana in Italien. Hier wird der Chianti Rufina angebaut, der die kleinste unter den Chianti-Lagen ist und zusammen mit dem Chianti Classico die besten Böden und die besten klimatischen Voraussetzungen für optimale Erträge hat. Es entstehen hier Chianti-Weine, die komplex, intensiv und besonders langlebig sind.

Renzo Masi ist ein Familienbetrieb, der 1932 von der Familie Masi gekauft wurde. Das Gut liegt auf einem Hügel links des Flusses Sieve. Ein Turm aus dem 13. Jahrhundert überragt das Anwesen. Renzo Masi hat den Betrieb gegründet und sein Sohn Paolo ist nach der Absolvierung der Weinbaufachschule in den elterlichen Betrieb eingestiegen. Er leitet heute das Unternehmen.

Die Weinkellerei Masi Renzo verarbeitet Trauben aus dem gesamten Chianti D.O.C.G.-Gebiet von oftmals langjährigen Vertragspartnern, die den hohen Qualitätsanforderungen von Masi entsprechen.
