Nach der Gärung erfolgt die Reifung in neuen Barrique Fässern für die Dauer von 18 Monaten.Der Wein hat eine tiefe rubinrote Farbe mit wunderschönen violetten Reflexen. Die Nase ist geprägt von roten Fruchtnoten wie Brombeere, Kirsche und Pflaume. Im Hintergrund schwingen würzige Noten wie Zimt und Nelke mit. Ein Hauch von Lakritz ergänzt das Ganze.
