Zu den berühmten Weingütern Kalabriens gehört auch das Gut der Familie des Barons Statti. Seit 1700 leben und arbeiten die Nachkommen des Barons auf denselben 500 Hektar Land. Heute bewirtschaften Alberto und Antonio Statti Weinberge, die eine Vielzahl an Rebsorten beherbergen.

In den letzten 15 Jahren haben die Gebrüder Statti viel investiert und ihr Weingut modernisiert. Die Reben werden in Hochkultur und spalierartig erzogen, damit die hoch stehende Sonne in diese engen Rebgassen optimal hineinscheinen kann.

Die Lese beginnt bei Statti Ende August und dauert bis Mitte Oktober. Es entstehen Weine von außerordentlicher Kraft und Komplexität. Das Portfolio reicht von den weltweiten Klassikern der gängigen roten und weißen Traubensorten bis hin zu den begehrten Linien hauseigener Züchtungen.
