Santadi Grotta Rossa

The Santadi Grotta Rossa is characterized by a strong fruity bouquet. This red Sicilian wine is made from the Carignano grape variety. This is the most important red grape variety at the Cantina di Santadi winery.

The Santadi Grotta Rossa shimmers an intense ruby red in the glass and impresses with its aromatic fruit bouquet. On the palate, the wine presents itself with a very good volume and a fine note of liquorice on the finish. This elegant wine is made at the Sardinian winery Cantina di Santadi exclusively from Carignano grapes, the typical, predominant grape variety in south-western Sicily.

The red wine should be drunk at a temperature of 16 to 18 °C. It is an excellent culinary accompaniment to a variety of dishes. These include hearty pasta and red meat dishes, fine poultry and light game.
