Farnese Fantini 23 Edizione Cinque Autoctoni Limited Release

Five autochthonous grape varieties were used for this wonderful red wine from the south of Italy. The Farnese Fantini 20 Edizione Cinque Autoctoni Limited Release contains grapes that were dried on the vine and harvested around one month later. After fermentation, the wine is matured in new barrique barrels for a period of 18 months.

The dry wine has a deep ruby red color with beautiful violet reflections. The nose is characterized by red fruit notes such as blackberry, cherry and plum. Spicy notes such as cinnamon and clove resonate in the background. A hint of liquorice completes the whole. On the palate, the Farnese Fantini 20 Edizione Cinque Autoctoni Limited Release is extremely balanced and fresh, with fine vanilla and chocolate aromas. The full, soft body with rich, velvety tannins ends in a long, persistent finish.

The Farnese Fantini 20 Edizione Cinque Autoctoni Limited Release is an excellent accompaniment to food. Try it at a drinking temperature of 18 °C with meat in a mustard or pepper sauce. Also a very good recommendation with mature cheese.

Production area: Selected vineyards of Neviera and Casa Rossa, located in San Marzano district.
