Colombelle Merlot Tannat IGP

The Colombelle Merlot Tannat from the Côtes de Gascogne is a red wine cuvée that combines the soft fruit of Merlot with the structure and flavour of Tannat.

It has a deep ruby red colour in the glass and an impressive nose with aromas of black cherries, plums, cassis and fine spicy notes such as pepper and liquorice.

On the palate, the Colombelle Merlot Tannat is round, smooth and well-balanced - with gentle tannins, fresh acidity and a fruity, spicy finish. A versatile red wine with French esprit that will delight beginners and connoisseurs alike.

Vinification is temperature-controlled in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit and freshness; sometimes supplemented by brief contact with wood for additional depth.

It tastes ideal with grilled meat, pasta with spicy sauces, ratatouille or medium-strong cheese.

Producteurs Plaimont
