The Louis Jadot Pinot Noir Les Petites Pierres Bourgogne AOC comes from Burgundy and is made exclusively from Pinot Noir. The cuvée blends grapes from various vineyards across Burgundy, bringing together the region’s diverse characteristics to create a balanced red wine full of character.

The grapes are vinified using traditional methods. Depending on the batch, the wine is then aged for eight to ten months in barrels from the estate’s own cooperage or in stainless steel tanks before the individual wines are blended for bottling.

On the nose, the wine displays fresh aromas of red fruits, particularly cherries and red berries, accompanied by subtle spicy notes. On the palate, it is juicy and elegant, with clear fruit, well-integrated tannins, and a pleasantly fresh structure. Its balanced character and fruit-forward finish make it a versatile example of Burgundy Pinot Noir.

The Louis Jadot Pinot Noir Les Petites Pierres pairs excellently with poultry, veal, and lighter meat dishes. It is also a harmonious accompaniment to terrines, pan-seared salmon, beef tartare, or aged hard cheeses.

The vines are over 20 years old and grow on clay and limestone soils, which give the Pinot Noir its typical elegance and structure.Vinification is carried out carefully in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks before ageing on the lees, also in stainless steel. This preserves the clear fruit, while the wine gains additional fullness and liveliness.In the glass, the Nuiton-Beaunoy Bourgogne Pinot Noir is a deep purple red with violet reflections. The nose reveals aromas of red fruits such as cherries and redcurrants as well as dark notes of blackberries and blackcurrants. On the palate, the red wine is lively, juicy and round, with a generous, fruity structure.This Nuiton-Beaunoy Bourgogne Pinot Noir is an excellent accompaniment to fillet of beef, braised veal shoulder or mature cheese. It is best served at 14 to 16 °C to bring out its fruity elegance and full character. With a maturation potential of around 5 years, it also offers fine development in the bottle.
