Catena is one of the best Chardonnay producers in Argentina. The high-altitude vineyards of Mendoza are lined with poplars, or "alamos" in Spanish. They protect the vines from the harsh, cool Andean winds and gave this Catena wine line its name. And this can also be clearly felt in this Catena Alamos Chardonnay.

The dry white wine smells of ripe yellow fruit, apples, limes and mango and is juicy with a fresh finish.

Enjoy it with grilled chicken and vegetables or pasta.

The La Piramide vineyard offers rich pineapple, passion fruit flavors and aromas with a touch of sweet honey with a rich mouthfeel. Der Montes Chardonnay besitzt den typisch fruchtigen Stil dieser Rebsorte mit einem saftigen Pfirsicharoma.Durch die 6-monatige Lagerung in amerikanischen Eichenfässern erhält er seine ausgewogene, dezente Vanillenote ohne dabei überladen oder allzu üppig zu wirken.Die Trauben werden entrappt und gelangen direkt in die Presse. Der Most vergärt und reift 6 Monate lang in amerikanischer Eiche. Lediglich 50% des Chardonnays machen den biologischen Säureabbau, so bleibt er besser frisch und körperreich.
