The Bishops Leap Sauvignon Blanc is a lively, aromatic white wine from the world-famous wine region of Marlborough, New Zealand.Straw yellow in color with green reflections in the glass and particularly fruity on the nose. Crisp, fresh and aromatic on the palate - this New Zealand white wine presents the typical Marlborough aromas of gooseberry, stone fruit and nettle. The delicious acidity leads to a long, lingering finish. The juice was fermented cold in stainless steel tanks to maintain freshness and zest. The grapes for the Bishops Leap Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc come from various sites in Marlborough's Southern Valleys and were harvested at night, during the coldest part of the day, at optimum ripeness. After transportation to the winery, the grapes were pressed with minimal contact with the skins.The Bishops Leap from Marlborough Valley Wines is a wonderful aperitif.
