As one of the most modern wineries in Navarra Bodegas Inaki Nunez produces particularly high quality wines from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo.The soils of clay, sand and limestone gives the winemaker Jean Marc Sauboua (4 years worked at Château Haut Brion) the optimum conditions for the viticulture.His wines are so good that Bodegas Inaki Nunez was awarded as one of the top 100 wineries in the world from the English wine magazine "Decanter".

The bouquet of the Torremilanos Crianza is intensely fruity. The creation of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon combines multi-faceted notes of black cherries, blueberries, currants, blackberries and plums. This impressive bouquet is complemented by notes of nut chocolate and nuances of roasted meat as well as thyme and lavender.On the palate, this red wine from the Ribera del Duero region is velvety and juicy, with a stimulating minerality and freshness. The aromas are also intense here. It includes aromas of mocha bean and smoke, as well as intense fruitiness and a slightly exotic spiciness.The ruby red wine matured for 24 months in American and French oak barrels. The Peñalba Lopez family, owners of Finca Torremilanos, own a cooperage and traditionally make the barrels themselves. The wood is toasted in-house. The great spiciness, the great harmony and the characteristic smoky notes of the Torremilanos creations are also due to this craftsmanship.The Torremilanos Crianza will continue to be a delight until 2031. Enjoy the Tempranillo produced in organic viticulture at a drinking temperature of 15 to 17 degrees. This red wine from the north of Spain is the perfect accompaniment to suckling pig and classic meatballs. Fünf Jahre Reifezeit verleihen dem Vega Sicilia Valbuena 5° seinen Namen. Gut Ding will Weile haben: Eine sprichwörtliche Formulierung, die bei diesem herausragenden spanischen Rotwein auch im Jahrgang 2018 eine maßlose Untertreibung ist. Denn der vermeintlich kleine Vega Sicilia Unico ist immer wieder großes Kino und Zeugnis herausragender Weinbaukunst in der Ribera del Duero-Region.Der Vega Sicilia Valbuena 5° 2018 vereint in seinem Bouquet Noten von frischen Waldbeeren (schwarze und blaue) und getrockneten Feigen mit einer herrlichen Würze. Noten von mediterranen Kräutern, Eichenholz, florale und pfeffrige Nuancen sowie ein Hauch von Vanille bereichern das Bouquet.Am Gaumen ist dieser trockene Spitzenrotwein aus Spanien „reif und mit einer milden Säure, die ihm ein weiches Mundgefühl verleiht. Ein sehr würziger Jahrgang für Valbuena, der sich dem Stil von Único nähert“, urteilt Luis Gutiérrez in Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate (96 Punkte für den Vega Sicilia Valbuena 5° 2018). Die Komposition aus 96% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) and 4% Merlot ist laut Gutiérrez „mittel- bis vollmundig, mit sehr feinen Tanninen, die den Wein schön strukturieren und sehr elegant machen“.Auch der britische Weinkritiker Tim Atkin ist angetan und vergibt 97 Punkte. „Ein duftender, komplexer, wohlschmeckender Rotwein, der gerade erst in Gang kommt, mit mediterranen Kräuterdüften, feinen Tanninen und etwas unterschwelliger Griffigkeit und Mineralität.“
