The prestigious Hamilton Russell Vineyards estate in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley stands for precise craftsmanship and terroir-driven elegance.This Chardonnay grows on weak, stony, clay and iron-rich soils, which give the wine a distinct minerality, clear structure and remarkable depth. The grapes are carefully selected and fermented in 300-liter French oak barrels, some of which are aged in new barrels and the rest in barrels of different ages. This careful barrel treatment gives the wine fine vanilla and subtle nutty notes without overpowering the freshness and expression of the fruit.In the glass, the wine has a bright color and a firm, elegant body. The nose delights with clear, vibrant aromas of pear and lime, accompanied by subtle spice and fine mineral nuances. An elegant, structured wine unfolds on the palate, enlivened by its fresh, natural acidity. The texture is soft yet intense, and the long, dry finish underlines the fine minerality and lively fruitiness - a wine with a strong expression of origin and character.This Chardonnay unfolds its full potential with grilled or roasted poultry, white meat dishes, fine fish or creamy pasta dishes. The low-vigour, stony, clay-rich soil, cool maritime mesoclimate, naturally tiny yields of under 30 hl/ha and the philosophy of expressing our terroir in the wines give rise to a certain tightness, tannin line and elevated length to balance the richness and generosity of this Pinot Noir. The Pinot Noir is not overtly fruity, soft and sweet and it generally shows hints of that alluring primal character along with a dark, spicy, complex primary fruit perfume.Suitable for vegans.

The Southern Right Pinotage is a powerful yet elegant red wine from South Africa's Walker Bay.Hamilton Russel is a Pinotage specialist on a strikingly beautiful 448-hectare property. The Hemel-en-Aarde Valley appellation, just behind the old fishing village of Hermanus in South Africa, has a cool and maritime climate. This is where the individual and expressive Southern Right Pinotage is pressed. This unusually elegant wine remains in French oak barrels for 9 months before being bottled.The dry red wine impresses with an intense color reminiscent of ripe black cherries. The bouquet offers notes of herbs and wild berries and conveys delicate, pithy and juicy aromas with a sophisticated style. This vegan wine from South Africa is packed with complex berry fruit, fine tannins and a subtle woody spice.Serve the Southern Right Pinotage at a drinking temperature of 16°C with strongly flavored dishes.

Southern Right is a small Pinotage and Sauvignon Blanc specialist situated in the beautifull Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, behind the old fishing village of Hermanus, just 2km's from the cold South Atlantic Ocean.Low-vigour, clay-rich soils are planted to Pinotage, while the lighter structured, free-draining Table Mountain Sandstone derived soils are planted to Sauvignon Blanc.Named after the rare Southern Right whales which visit the Walker Bay between May and December each year, Souther Right makes a contribution to ther conservation or conservation in the area with each bottle sold.This Sauvignon Blanc is intense fresh, and equipped with the full aroma of ripe grapes.
