The LBV (Late Bottled Vintage) matured for many years in large oak casks, leading to well-rounded tannins, simultaneously keeping its full body and fruitiness.The Churchill’s Late Bottled Vintage is a real delight simply on its own to finish off a meal. It also goes beautifully with chocolate desserts or tangy cheeses such as Stilton and Camembert as well.We recommend decanting this port wine two hours before drinking it. Please stand the bottle upright several hours before decanting it.

The grapes for this young Reserve Port from the Churchill’s estate come from the best Quintas vineyards. This blend, consisting of diverse grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca and Tinta Francisca, is redolent of fresh bilberries and offers nuances of eucalyptus and cistus blossoms. It is stimulating on the palate, with lots of natural acidity as well as a lovely balance.The Churchill’s Reserve Port was aged for three years in large casks.
