The Sauvignon Blanc for this wine was aged in wooden casks, giving the wine its special complexity. On the palate, the Springfield Miss Lucy is powerful and complex, with an invigorating freshness and a great balance. This wine owes its name to the Red Stumpnose, an endangered fish species off the South African coast belonging to the family of sea breams.
