This blend, consisting mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon and a smaller percentage of Petit Verdot and Malbec, has an intense bouquet hinting of black currants, vanilla and pepper, complemented by noticeable wood aromas due to twelve months of aging in French oak casks.This wine is sumptuous on the palate, with lushly structured tannins and a good balance between fruitiness and intensity, complemented by spicy notes of oak. The finish is highly aromatic.You’ll enjoy discovering the Klein Constantia Estate Red with grilled meat, spicy poultry and various hard cheeses.
