Am Gaumen ist dieser reinsortige Sauvignon Blanc aus Neuseeland herrlich konzentriert, mit wunderbaren tropischen Aromen sowie von Nektarinen. Salzige Noten verleihen diesem Weißwein Struktur, während Passionsfrucht und Zitrone Balance geben. Der Sauvignon Blanc wurde zum größten Teil im Edelstahltank vinifiziert, zu einem kleinen Teil kamen zudem alte französische Barriquefässer zum Einsatz.

Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir

Das Bukett zeichnen intensive Aromen dunkler Früchte aus, vor allem Brombeeren und Kirschen. Dazu kommen Nuancen von Grafit. Am Gaumen ist dieser Rotwein aus Neuseeland geschmeidig, mit seidigen Tanninen und einer feinen Balance mit einer saftigen Säure. Dazu kommen Noten der Loganbeere (amerikanische Kreuzung aus einer Brombeerenart und Himbeere) und von Pflaumen. Dieser Pinot Noir klingt noch außergewöhnlich lange nach.Elf Monate lang reifte der Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir in französischen Eichenfässern. Dabei kamen zu 35% neue Fässer zum Einsatz.Die ideale Trinktemperatur für diesen Rotwein liegt bei 14 bis 16°C. Genießen Sie ihn zum Beispiel zu einem lange gereiften Parmaschinken mit frischem Ciabatta (gern mit etwas italienischem Olivenöl), einem Weichkäse mit Walnüssen oder geräucherten Tomaten mit Feta und Knoblauch.

A Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region, located in the north of New Zealand’s South Island, is a guarantor of quality. If it also comes from the Saint Clair estate with its internationally renowned wine producers Matt Thomson and Hamish Clark, the wine will certainly be a distinctive taste experience.The Pioneer Block 20 Cash Block Sauvignon Blanc shines straw yellow, hinting of black currants and lemon peel. It is sumptuous and complex on the palate, with notes of passion fruit, peach and black currants.The grapes from the Wairau Valley benefit from the vineyard’s special location. The maritime climate is slightly cooler compared to most vineyards in the Marlborough region. Thus, the ripening process proceeds more slowly and lasts longer. The grapes were harvested in the cool evening hours with an optimal depth of aroma.
