Strohgelb mit goldenen Reflexen schimmert der Feudo Arancio Chardonnay im Glas. Der Weißwein aus Sizilien ist im Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis herausragend. Gold bei der Berliner Wein Trophy für den Jahrgang 2020 oder Silber bei den Asian Chardonnay Masters für den Jahrgang 2018 sind nur zwei Beispiele für die vielen Auszeichnungen, die der Feudo Arancio Chardonnay in aller Welt bereits erhalten hat.

Und auch der Jahrgang 2021 ist ein Genuss-Garant. Der reinsortige, italienische Chardonnay duftet intensiv fruchtig nach Tropenfrüchten (Ananas) und Zitrusfrüchten. Hinzu kommen verführerische Nuancen von Vanille und Akazienhonig. Am Gaumen ist der Weißwein von Feudo Aranico trocken, harmonisch und ausgewogen, mit einer angenehmen, zurückhaltenden Säure und großer Fruchtbetontheit.

Die Chardonnay-Trauben stammen aus der Provinz Ragusa an der Südspitze Siziliens. 15% des Mosts reifte in französischen Eichenholzbarriques heran. Im Anschluss wird die Cuvée vereint und der Weißwein von der größten Insel im Mittelmeer im Stahltank veredelt.

Olianas Vermentino di Sardegna DOC
Die Trauben für den Olianas Vermentino di Sardegna DOC stammen von den Weinbergen Murvonis und Porruddu. Die Böden aus diesen Weinbergen bestehen aus lehmigem Ton und sandigen Mergelstein, die einerseits für Frische und Eleganz sorgen und andererseits dem Wein Komplexität und Struktur verleihen. Die Reben wurden im Jahr 2007 gepflanzt und bringen einen relativ niedrigen Ertrag von 1,5 Tonnen pro Hektar.In der Nase eine schöne Zitrusfruchtnote und ein Duft nach roter Grapefruit, ergänzt durch Noten von Brotrinde und verschiedenen Gewürzen. Belebend frisch am Gaumen ist der Olianas Vermentino di Sardegna DOC ein runder, wohl ausblancierter Wein.
