This Primitivo di Manduria from Apulia is an exceptional taste experience. Its wonderfully multi-faceted bouquet offers intense notes of ripe, red fruit, cedar and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and round, with nicely integrated tannins and a prolonged finish.

The Since 1974 Primitivo di Manduria DoP matured for one year in French oak casks. This deep ruby-red, soft, warm and complex wine is a real delight simply on its own and also goes beautifully with meals. You’ll enjoy discovering this venerable, authentic wine from South Italy with pasta varieties, game, roast, grilled meat, lamb and ripe cheeses.

Production area: Selected vineyards of Neviera and Casa Rossa, located in San Marzano district. The soil is mainly “terra rossa”, with a fine texture and generally a calcareous undergound with a few emerging rocks. The well-known redness of these soils is due to the presence of iron oxides.
