Dieser Chardonnay aus dem US-Bundesstaat Oregon duftet wunderbar anregend nach reifem Pfirsich, Aprikose und Limette. Noten von Apfelblüten runden den Duftstrauß des Acrobat Chardonnay ab. Im Wine Enthusiast gibt es 90 Punkte für den Weißwein aus den USA: „Er ist klar strukturiert und knackig, vollgepackt mit weißen Pfirsich- und Apfelfrüchten, getragen von einer lebendigen Säure.“

Am Gaumen ist der Chardonnay von der Westküste trocken und zugleich animierend frisch, mit einer eindrucksvoll fruchtbetonten, aromatischen Tiefe (Zitrusfrüchte, Birne). Dazu kommen perfekt harmonierende Töne von Crème Brûlée und Vanille.

Die Acrobat-Weine stammen von American Viticultural Areas (AVA), also US-amerikanischen Anbaugebieten, zu denen Willamette Valley, Umpqua Valley und Rogue Valley gehören. Der hell goldgelbe Chardonnay wurde in einer Kombination aus Edelstahl und neuer Eiche vergoren.

The Buena Vista Chardonnay Carneros is a Chardonnay produced in the Burgundy style and comes from the wine-growing region of Carneros located north of Sonoma, California. All of the wine matured in wooden casks. Subsequently, it was aged for 12 months in French and Hungarian oak casks, of which 25% were new French oak barrels. The Buena Vista Chardonnay Carneros is a beautiful honey yellow in the glass and is redolent of very sweet apples, marzipan and peach blossoms, underpinned by notes of pears and lemon, complemented by nuances of vanilla and spices. The medium-bodied wine bathes the palate with a pleasing balance. A clear, fine acidity gives the Buena Vista Chardonnay Carneros a wonderful finish. We recommend enjoying this excellent Chardonnay from California with fish, white meat with butter or cream sauce or ripe cheeses.
