Gran Moraine Yamhill Carlton Oregon Chardonnay

Ein wunderbarer Chardonnay aus dem Nordwesten der USA: Der Gran Moraine Yamhill-Carlton Chardonnay duftet eindrucksvoll vielschichtig und facettenreich. Das Bouquet des Weißweins aus Oregon vereint Noten von Kiwi, Pfirsich, Zitrusfrüchten und Melone. Dazu kommen Noten von Apfelblüten sowie florale Nuancen von gelben Narzissen uns Rosenblättern. Abgerundet wird der faszinierende Duftstrauß durch Noten von Brioche.

Am Gaumen ist der Chardonnay von Gran Moraine, etwa 50 Kilometer südwestlich von Portland gelegen, trocken, mit mittlerem Körper und angenehm weicher Textur. 92 Falstaff-Punkte gibt es für den Chardonnay aus dem Weinanbaugebiet Yamhill-Carlton District AVA. Das Urteil: „Mittlerer Körper, weißes Kernobst, feiner Säurebogen, salzige Mineralität, zeigt gute Länge, ein Wein, der sich bei Tisch unterordnet, mit angenehmer Fruchtsüße im Nachhall, vielseitig.“

19 Monate reifte der hell grüngelbe Chardonnay zu großen Teilen in französischem Eichenholz, wobei zu 15% neue Fässer zum Einsatz kamen. Genießen Sie den Gran Moraine Chardonnay bei einer Trinktemperatur von 10 bis 12 Grad. Dieser edle Weißwein aus den USA ist ein wunderbarer Begleiter von gegrilltem Fisch oder von weißem Fleisch.

Chamonix Chardonnay Reserve
Dieser hell strohfarben leuchtende Chardonnay aus Südafrika zählt zur ersten Riege der Weißweine vom Kap. Im Bukett des im Holz ausgebauten Chamonix Chardonnay Reserve vereinen sich Noten von tropischen Früchten, Ingwer, Gewürzen und auch Haferflocken.Am Gaumen ist der Chamonix Chardonnay Reserve gut strukturiert, mit mittlerem Körper und einer schönen Mineralität. Dazu kommen anregende Aromen von Limette und gerösteten Mandeln.  Beim Ausbau dieses Weißweines habe die Macherinnen und Macher von Chamonix wenig dem Zufall überlassen. Der Chardonnay Reserve reifte zum größten Teil für 14 Monate in französischen Allier-Eichenfässern. Ein kleinerer Teil wurde im Beton-Ei ausgebaut. „Alles wurde genutzt, mit einem bewundernswerten Ergebnis“, urteilt Marston.3 bis 4 Jahre nach dem „release“ zeigt der Chamonix Chardonnay Reserve seine ganze Qualität. In Top-Jahrgängen bleibt sie bis zu 10 Jahre lang eindrucksvoll.

Acrobat Oregon Chardonnay
This Chardonnay from the US state of Oregon has a wonderfully stimulating aroma of ripe peach, apricot and lime. Notes of apple blossom round off the bouquet of Acrobat Chardonnay. Wine Enthusiast awarded 90 points to the white wine from the USA: "It is clearly structured and crisp, packed with white peach and apple fruit, carried by a lively acidity."On the palate, the Chardonnay from the West Coast is dry and at the same time animatingly fresh, with an impressively fruity, aromatic depth (citrus fruits, pear). There are also perfectly harmonizing tones of crème brûlée and vanilla.The Acrobat wines come from American Viticultural Areas (AVA), which include Willamette Valley, Umpqua Valley and Rogue Valley. The light golden yellow Chardonnay was fermented in a combination of stainless steel and new oak.Enjoy this white wine from western Oregon at a drinking temperature of 10 to 12 degrees. A long, velvety finish with hints of mocha and black tea rounds off the experience and makes this vintage particularly fascinating.The vinification follows the highest standards: around 20 days of maceration and 18 months in new French oak ensure depth, elegance and ageability. Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore
The Maremma is a characterful landscape in central Italy, which is also known for its excellent wines. Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore from Tenuta Argentiera has a bright ruby red color with violet hues. On the palate, notes of licorice and black currants. This generous, complex wine - consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc - is rich in tannins. It has a wonderful balance with a pleasant acidity. The finish is long lasting - with a remarkable freshness and minerality.The harvested grapes come from the best vineyards of the estate. The grapes were vinified separately; fermentation and maceration took about 25 to 30 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine was then transferred to 225-liter French oak barriques, where its malolactic fermentation was completetd. The further maturation was about 14 months in oak barrels and then at least another 12 months on the bottle.Tenuta Argentiera is located on the picturesque coast of the Northern Maremma, about 100 km southwest of Florence.
