Der Portia Roble ist ein Rotwein aus der spanischen Weinregion Ribera del Duero DO und wird vom Weingut Bodegas Portia der Familie Martinez Zabala produziert. Der aus Tempranillo Trauben gewonnene Wein zeigt eine helle intensive kastanienbraune Farbe mit violettem Rand im Glas. Er duftet intensiv nach Röstaromen aus der 3-monatigen Fassreifung und frischer Früchte, wie Kirschen oder Brombeeren. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Portia Roble gut strukturiert mit runden Tanninen. Ein ausgewogener Alltagswein mit mittlerem Abgang und fruchtigen Anklängen. 

Der Roble vom Weingut Portia passt gut zu verschiedenen Fleischgerichten, insbesondere zu gegrilltem Fleisch, Lamm oder Tapas. Auch bei Reis- und Nudelgerichten eine schöne Ergänzung.

Das Weingut Portia gehört der Familie Martínez Zabala, die bereits seit 160 Jahren Wein anbaut. Insgesamt besitzt die Familie Zabala 6 Weingüter, darunter das Weingut Faustino in der Rioja und Bodegas Leganza in der La Mancha. Portia produziert sowohl in der Ribera del Duero als auch in der Region Rueda.

Anfang der 1990er Jahre wurde der Grundstein für Bodegas Portia gelegt. Insgesamt wurden 160 Hektar Weinberge bepflanzt. Aufgrund ihrer Ost- und Südausrichtung erhalten die Weinberge maximale Sonneneinstrahlung, während die Trauben langsam und allmählich reifen können. Einige Jahre später wurde der Spitzenarchitekt Norman Foster mit der Planung einer neuen Bodega beauftragt. Es entstand ein äußerst funktionales und gleichzeitig atemberaubend schönes Gebäude, sodass die Bodega Portia heute zu den meistbesuchten Weinunternehmen Spaniens gehört.

The Montecastrillo Tinto Ribera del Duero from Finca Torremilanos has a wonderfully fresh and fruity aroma of blackberries, black cherries and plums. There are also harmonious tones of juniper and liquorice, as well as a warm spiciness and nuances of toast. This Spanish red wine is velvety on the palate, with a fine interplay of sweetness and delicate bitterness. Aromas of black and blue fruits are prominent here, along with pleasant mineral notes. The finish is wonderfully fruity.The harmonious, accessible Montecastrillo Tinto is a creation of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The winemakers at Finca Torremilanos matured the Tempranillo in used French and American oak barrels for 4 months.
