Pazo de Señorans Albariño Rias Baixas DO

The fresh and fruity Pazo de Señorans Albariño is another outstanding creation from Pazo de Señorans in the north-west of Spain. For decades, the winery has known how to fully develop the qualities of the Albariño grape variety, which is typical of the Rías Baixas region.

The pure Albariño shimmers pale straw-colored in the glass with golden reflections. The Spanish white wine has a seductive aroma of citrus fruit, quince and peach. Luis Gutiérrez awarded the Pazo de Señorans creation 91+ points in Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. "It shows great purity and elegance. It has 13.0% alcohol and is very balanced and clear." The great aroma density also characterizes the white wine from Galicia. Floral and tropical fruit notes in a fine interplay, plus a beautiful acidity and a fine minerality.

Enjoy the Albariño matured in stainless steel tanks at a drinking temperature of 8 to 10°C. The white wine is "still shy and should continue to grow in the bottle", says Gutiérrez.

Pazo de Señorans has played its part in the fact that the Rías Baixas region is regarded as a trailblazer for modern Spanish white wine. The Pazo de Señorans Albariño Rias Baixas DO is a wonderful example of this.

Product recommendation

Anselmo Mendes Muros Antigos Alvarinho DOC
The Anselmo Mendes Muros Antigos Alvarinho comes exclusively from vineyards in the Moncao and Megaco regions. The Alvarinho grape thrives on south-facing slopes that receive plenty of sunshine during the day. The soils are mainly granite and limestone. The Vinho Verde growing region is characterized by its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. The constant winds always bring in enough moisture. The wine is given an exceptional freshness by this sea breeze and the high amount of sunshine. After destemming, the grapes were gently pressed and then cold clarified over a period of 4 days. This was followed by a long fermentation, which was constantly monitored at temperatures between 14 and 20 degrees Celsius. The subsequent ageing on the fine lees lasted another 6 months. The Muros Antigos Alvarinho has a clear citrus aroma on the nose and also shows slight tropical notes. The wine has a strikingly fresh mineral flavor. It is full-bodied and full-flavored with a very good structure. It is also characterized by a long, slightly bitter citrus taste on the finish.Enjoy this wine with a crisp, fresh salad or as an aperitif on hot summer days.

Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento
Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento - Intense pleasure from ApuliaThe Primitivo grape variety has enjoyed unbroken popularity for years. The variety of Primitivo wines is now almost unmanageable. It is therefore all the more important to preserve the original character of this grape. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento does this very well. Deliberately with a little less residual sweetness and very structured on the palate, this dry wine from Italy is full-bodied but at the same time has a smoothness that is second to none. In a long process with the cellar master and owner Gaetano Marangelli from Cantine Menhir, we have brought the typical Apulian native form of a Primitivo into the bottle. The color is an intense dark red and shows all the power of the sun that was able to flow into the grapes of the Pr1mo. The nose has wonderful aromas of cherry jam, ripe plums and wild berries. Maturing in wooden barrels gives the wine an additional hint of vanilla. Fruit and fullness dominate the palate. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento is always velvety and balanced. Enjoy the original Puglia. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento is an all-rounder that can be enjoyed solo or with a good meal. Serve this wine with roast pork or dark meat from the grill. This red wine is also an excellent accompaniment to strong cheeses. Our chocolate tip: Try an exquisite milk chocolate with notes of salted caramel with this dry red wine.
