Pazo de Señorans Albariño Rias Baixas DO

The fresh and fruity Pazo de Señorans Albariño is another outstanding creation from Pazo de Señorans in the north-west of Spain. For decades, the winery has known how to fully develop the qualities of the Albariño grape variety, which is typical of the Rías Baixas region.

The pure Albariño shimmers pale straw-colored in the glass with golden reflections. The Spanish white wine has a seductive aroma of citrus fruit, quince and peach. Luis Gutiérrez awarded the Pazo de Señorans creation 91+ points in Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. "It shows great purity and elegance. It has 13.0% alcohol and is very balanced and clear." The great aroma density also characterizes the white wine from Galicia. Floral and tropical fruit notes in a fine interplay, plus a beautiful acidity and a fine minerality.

Enjoy the Albariño matured in stainless steel tanks at a drinking temperature of 8 to 10°C. The white wine is "still shy and should continue to grow in the bottle", says Gutiérrez.

Pazo de Señorans has played its part in the fact that the Rías Baixas region is regarded as a trailblazer for modern Spanish white wine. The Pazo de Señorans Albariño Rias Baixas DO is a wonderful example of this.

Anselmo Mendes Muros Antigos Alvarinho DOC

Pazo de Señorans Seleccion de Anada Albariño Rias Baixas DO
Aged on the lees for more than 36 months from vineyards in the Rías Baixas wine region in northwestern Spain that are more than 45 years old: with its Pazo de Señorans Albariño Seleccion de Añada, the Pazo de Señorans winery has created a white wine that fascinates national and international wine critics alike. Ninety-eight out of 100 points in Spain's wine bible Guía Peñín and 95 points in Robert Parker's Wine Advocate speak for themselves: Pazo de Señorans is known for outstanding Albariño creations, but with the Albariño Seleccion de Añada the makers have once again reached an exceptional level of quality. In the Wine Advocate, Luis Gutiérrez writes of “superb aromatic complexity", discovering notes of pine needles, dried herbs and quinces as well as a hint of smoky yeast and petrol. This Spanish white wine, gleaming straw-yellow in the glass, also offers seductive notes of citrus fruits, peach and exotic fruits (pineapple, banana) as well as a very subtle salinity. On the palate, the Albariño is “seamless and precise, with 13% alcohol, beautifully integrated acidity and excellent balance,” in Gutiérrez’ assessment. This white wine has an impressive, luxurious body, an elegant minerality and a racy acidity. Its aromatic depth enchants connoisseurs. An intense, fresh fruitiness as well as notes of honey, herbs and lemongrass are united in extraordinary interplay. The finish is long. The Pazo de Señorans Albariño Seleccion de Añada with its extreme longevity will offer tremendous pleasure until 2034. Enjoy this exceptional Spanish white wine chilled to a temperature between 8°-10° C. Pairing it with fish or shellfish, you’ll enjoy a taste experience you won’t forget any time soon.

Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento
Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento - Intense pleasure from ApuliaThe Primitivo grape variety has enjoyed unbroken popularity for years. The variety of Primitivo wines is now almost unmanageable. It is therefore all the more important to preserve the original character of this grape. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento does this very well. Deliberately with a little less residual sweetness and very structured on the palate, this dry wine from Italy is full-bodied but at the same time has a smoothness that is second to none. In a long process with the cellar master and owner Gaetano Marangelli from Cantine Menhir, we have brought the typical Apulian native form of a Primitivo into the bottle. The color is an intense dark red and shows all the power of the sun that was able to flow into the grapes of the Pr1mo. The nose has wonderful aromas of cherry jam, ripe plums and wild berries. Maturing in wooden barrels gives the wine an additional hint of vanilla. Fruit and fullness dominate the palate. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento is always velvety and balanced. Enjoy the original Puglia. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento is an all-rounder that can be enjoyed solo or with a good meal. Serve this wine with roast pork or dark meat from the grill. This red wine is also an excellent accompaniment to strong cheeses. Our chocolate tip: Try an exquisite milk chocolate with notes of salted caramel with this dry red wine.
