Der Mauro Terreus verbrachte 20 Monate in neuen französischen Eichenfässern, was zu einem enormen Tiefgang und großer Konzentration führte. Der Wein funkelt rubinrot im Glas. In der Nase besticht ein feiner und subtiler Duft von Mineralität und Röstaromen, dazu gesellt sich eine saftige Kirschnote. The Protos 27 Tinto is an anniversary wine. Bodegas Protos is thus celebrating its 90th anniversary. In 1927, 11 winegrowers dared to plant vines in the Ribera del Duero region, which was still considered completely unreal and unsuitable at the time, and found a winery. They called it Bodega Ribera Duero. It was not until 55 years later that the name of the winery was dropped to pave the way for the establishment of the DO Ribera del Duero. As it was the first winery to be established, there was probably nothing more obvious than to name itself Protos, "the first", from the Greek.The first vintage, 2014, is a tribute to the work of the founders. By using specially developed yeasts from their own research, they are breaking new ground with this wine. The retro label and modern ageing of the wine are an impressive combination of tradition and modernity.The grapes for the Protos 27 Tinto come from Tempranillo vines, some of which are 70 years old. In addition to alcoholic fermentation at 25 degrees Celsius, malolactic fermentation took place in new French oak barrels. The wine then underwent 16 months of ageing in new French barrels and 12 months of bottle ageing.On the nose, there is plenty of fruit of black raspberry, blackberry and cherry aromas. Cocoa and tobacco notes are just as impressive as vanilla and chocolate. Lots of power, complexity, elegance and balance on the palate. The finely integrated tannins make the wine appear fresh and creamy. The harmonious interplay of all components is what makes this wine so unique.Enjoy the Protos 27 Tinto with grilled meat of all kinds. It is also an excellent companion for hearty stews or on its own for a relaxed evening in front of the TV.

This outstanding Spanish Tempranillo, hailed as a top wine by Robert Parker, has also played a key role in the Ribera del Duero wine region in northern Spain’s impressive success story over the past decades. So treat yourself to the Fernández Rivera Tinto Pesquera Crianza—a Spanish red wine in a class of its own.This intensely garnet-red wine offers seductive aromas of dark fruits such as plums, black cherries, and mulberries, complemented by harmonious, spicy notes of cinnamon, vanilla, licorice, and tobacco.James Suckling awards the Fernández Rivera Tinto Pesquera Crianza 93 points. He writes about the bouquet of this single-varietal Tempranillo, which was aged for 16 months in barriques: “Fresh black plums and black cherries that take on the oak spice, along with a hint of tobacco.”On the palate, the Tinto Pesquera Crianza is dry and powerful, with a beautiful, fruit-forward depth of flavor (mulberries, licorice, dried figs). The fine-grained tannins are wonderfully integrated, and the spicy finish lingers for a very long time.Suckling is also full of praise: “An engaging and juicy Ribera del Duero with pleasantly soft tannins that lend structure to the concentrated fruit. Long and clean. Ready to drink now, but it’s better to give it a year to soften.” This Tempranillo is guaranteed to be a delight until 2032.Discover this creation from the Fernández Rivera family at a serving temperature of 15 to 17 degrees. We recommend decanting it 30 minutes before serving. This elegant, refined red wine is a perfect pairing with grilled meat, suckling pig, or milk-fed lamb with rosemary. It’s also an excellent choice with aged cheeses.

Süßliche Tannine, typisch für Malbec, eine gute Struktur und große Balance ergeben ein perfektes Zusammenspiel. Die große Frische, seine beerige und kräuterige Aromentiefe sowie die angenehme Mineralität machen den Salentein Primus Malbec zu einem Geschmackserlebnis. Das Finale klingt lange nach. Auch James Suckling hat der Jahrgang 2018 überzeugt, er vergibt 92 Punkte. Dieser in limitierter Auflage kreierte Rotwein wird nur in Jahren produziert, in denen die Qualität der Trauben den Ansprüchen genügt, die mit einem Primus Malbec verbunden sind. Der Rotwein reifte für 18 Monate in französischen Eichenfässern, im Anschluss 12 Monate in der Flasche in den Kellern des Weingutes. Wir empfehlen, diesen Malbec aus dem Uco-Tal in der Mendoza-Region 30 bis 60 Minuten vor dem Trinkgenuss zu dekantieren. Die ideale Trinktemperatur liegt bei 16 Grad. Der tief violett-rote Wein ist ein toller Begleiter zu rotem Fleisch, kräftigem Käse sowie Gerichten, bei denen Saucen mit Zwiebeln oder mit schwarzem Pfeffer gereicht werden.Den Salentein Primus Malbec können Sie problemlos für 10 Jahre lagern.
