The Windmeul Chenin Blanc is redolent of fresh plums, peach and blossoms. Its invigorating, stimulating bouquet unites freshness and fruitiness. On the palate, this South African white wine is full-bodied, showing a nice balance, a fine acidity and a clear, fruity finish as well.

This crisp Chenin Blanc was aged in stainless steel tanks. It is made from vines with an average age of 15 years, growing in unwatered vineyards. Chenin Blanc is one of South Africa’s most defining white wines. This Windmeul blend demonstrates why these white wines are renowned for their light, carefree and elegant style.

This Pinotage from the Coastal region in South Africa is a fine taste experience. It has a multi-faceted bouquet hinting of plums, berries and bananas, complemented by aromas of coffee and chocolate. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced, medium-bodied, velvety and fruity. This pure varietal Pinotage comes from vines between 14 and 18 years old. The red wine from the venerable Windmeul cooperative was aged for 12 months in second- and third-fill French oak casks. The Windmeul Pinotage is an ideal accompaniment to game, marinated lamb and cheddar or blue cheese with figs.

The grapes for the Allesverloren Chenin Blanc come from vineyards that are located more than 300 metres above sea level. The vineyards are exposed to the northwest and southeast, thus benefitting from optimal sunshine and giving the wine its special complexity and an enormous fullness. The wine has a clear, brilliant colour with light green glints. On the nose, it offers very fine nuances of coal, complemented by aromas of juicy apples and hints of lime.The Allesverloren Chenin Blanc is well-balanced, with restrained acidity. Nevertheless, it is lively, fresh and soft on the palate. The ripe notes of stone fruit particularly underscore this taste experience. We recommend serving this wine with light chicken dishes, summer salads or seafood.

Am Gaumen ist der Wein saftig und frisch mit Noten von Steinfrüchten. Der Protea Chenin Blanc schmeckt nach Wassermelone und lebhaft nach Birne.Der Wein stammt aus den Anbaugebieten Swartland und Voor-Paardeberg und zeigt in der Mitte breite, aber sanfte Hefenoten. Ein rundum gut ausbalancierter, leckerer Wein mit langanhaltendem Abgang.Der Protea Chenin Blanc empfiehlt sich als Terrassenwein an heißen Sommertagen genauso gut wie zu knackigen Salaten aller Art.
