The Neil Ellis Cape South Coast Chardonnay exemplifies the clear, terroir-driven style of the renowned South African winery Neil Ellis. Gegründet wurde Neil Ellis Wines 1986 von den zwei passionierten Weinexperten Neil Ellis und Hans Peter Schroder, die nach äußerst erfolgreichen Soloprojekten den Weg des Joint Ventures einschlugen.
Neil Ellis selbst hat sich am Kap einen Namen als Spitzenweinmaker gemacht, als er unter anderem für KWV, Groot Constantia Estate und Zevenwacht tätig war. Ihm obliegt auch im gleichnamigen Weingut die Verantwortung der Weinbereitung. Und die kann sich wahrlich genießen lassen.
