The Fairview Extrano is a Spanish-inspired blend of Tempranillo and Grenache Noir that combines South African origins with a distinct Mediterranean style. The wine is powerful and concentrated, with dark fruit and warm spice.

The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted before being fermented in open French oak foudres. Daily punching down of the cap ensures color and flavor extraction, while a portion of the Grenache grapes is fermented whole, lending the wine additional freshness and vibrancy. The Extrano is then aged for 23 months in French and American oak.

On the nose, the wine displays intense aromas of dark berries and ripe plums, complemented by notes of clove and cinnamon. On the palate, it is full-bodied and generous, with complex dark fruit, sweet oak spice, and firm tannins. The long, dry, and hearty finish lends the wine additional depth.

The Extrano pairs excellently with grilled meats, tapas, and a generous selection of cheeses. Its robust fruit and spicy structure make it a versatile companion for hearty dishes.

This Merlot, which is mostly aged in barriques for over a year, smells of ripe red berries, plums and cedar wood as well as nuances of chocolate. On the palate, the Kleine Zalze Cellar Selection Merlot is wonderfully structured, with ripe, well-integrated tannins, a fresh acidity and a pleasant, fruity lightness. The finish lingers for a long time.The pure Merlot from the Coastal region was matured for one year in French barriques. The dry red wine is a pleasure to drink on its own, but is also a wonderful accompaniment to a good meal. This South African red wine has a bouquet of ripe red and black berries and plums. There are also beautiful nuances of eucalyptus and mint.
